He does interview fairly well and better demeanor than some other coaches. Maybe the OL needs a shouter? Wish him the most successful season in 23 to silence the doubters. LGH

Seems like a great guy. Players love and respect him as well. So put me in the camp of pulling for him big time this year that things improve dramatically on the o-line. If not, and the line struggles mightily again, then it’s likely time to look at different options.

This guy will prove that he is a great Oline coach. I just hope it is this year. If not I am afraid he will have to prove it at another school.

OL was not great last year. Hope they are better. It would be really hard to be an OL with B Ferentz as your OC and Kirk as HC. Both those guys were OL coaches.

If the OLine continues its poor performance this year, this guy needs the boot. We can't survive without a decent line to protect Cade.

this guy is one of the worst O Line coaches out there since he has been on staff we have had very poor O line development and play

I’ve seen players talk about him who think he’s excellent. Hard to say for sure until he has a talented group. I am not convinced he’s had that. Also, he’s forced to coach a scheme which may not really work well at the college level, after the change in the blocking rules. It is hard to really double team effectively without drawing a flag anymore. Still, he has to produce.
