Kim Reynolds do the research about nursing, they absolutely SEEK a college education. There are AD degrees, BSN degrees and Masters degrees in nursing. I noticed that Kim Reynolds (when speaking against student loan forgiveness) stated that “Truck drivers, machinists, nurses and others who chose to not go to college “ should not have to help pay others’ students loans through their taxes. Does she not realize that nurses especially are required to have extensive post high school education that is paid for by tuition? For that matter, many trades (like truck drivers and machinists) likely have some student loan debt to pay for their education. What a slap in the face that was to many workers to imply that no education/training is needed for these jobs!

The decriminalization of Cannabis is one of the most important issues and is the game changer for myself. Iowa's medical seen is very weak and data shows that states that decriminalize cannabis show a drop in those who use it to spend less on state medical program. Another thing is this cannabis has killed no one ever! And to claim worries of addiction is a aversion when alcohol and tobacco are one of the biggest health problems in our society. Kim's fiscal responsibility response is because Iowa denies the elderly and disabled so much in regards to needs. The fact that Iowa has so many towns and cities are losing population, Clinton is one of the fastest de-populating towns in the country. I have lived in many states, but grew up in Iowa and had to move back here because of a debilitating disease and found out how much Iowa government does not care about those who are in need.
