Tbf it’s kinda hard to get in rhythm when your star player has a 40% usage rate. Like you might have to wait a whole 5 minutes before you get another attempt

@@pabon910 I don't think It's her fault. I mean she's clearly carrying this team and definitely needs help. If you have a player like her like warriors have Steph who draws an incredible pressure on the defensive side, as a teammate you have to be ready AT ALL TIMES.

@@User_xxCqqA I feel like we compare her to Steph cause of the shooting but the reality is she’s playing more like Trae Young. The Warriors offense is built around ball movement, what Iowa is running is completely heliocentric. Honestly, I think it’s the coaches fault, she clearly wants Caitlin to break the record. But for sure it’s not 100% on Caitlin. There still rotation uncertainties, the non seniors are playing tight cause if it. Kate Martin can’t be the glue anymore she needs to be the Pippin, she has the skill to do it. Gabby is playing like a 5year backpack. Affolter should start. Both Molly and Kate are both good cutters but there’s no high post action to take advantage of it; it took them 3 1/2 quarters before they realized they could spam Iowas State with it. ISU literally had their post sitting under the basket yet nobody decides to attack from the elbow. Just real low basketball IQ plays. Not having Cziano or a Gustafson is exposing the weakness in Bluders system

@@pabon910 The comparison to Steph is not about the shooting but the defensive pressure they attracts. Ball movement is good if others are making their shots. We have to accept that she needs help like the help she got from Monika last season. She's doing everything not because she wants to but she has to.

@@User_xxCqqA Steph has never had a 40% usage rate, that would rank 3rd highest in NBA history. Taking pull up 3s 2 seconds into the shot clock is a bad shot regardless if she can make it. You can’t say she needs help when she’s not allowing her teammates to help her. Literally 8 players on her team with a higher field goal percentage than her. Kate Martin is shooting 59.9% percent from the field yet has taken 139 less field goals and 92 less 3s. This all while Caitlin’s giving little effort on Defense. Molly Davis was averaging 18 ppg before she transferred and Lauren Jensen is currently averaging the same. WE don’t have to accept Monica is not around, she needs to accept that. She has teammates who can ball but their game isn’t spot up 3s. The they need more help excuse is the same excuse people give to Westbrook, harden, Trae young, and luca. We have tons of evidence that proves that style of play hurts the performance of role players.

Hawks played pretty badly. All Seniors going against a lot of Freshman. Have a lot to work to do this season
