Here is part two fly fishing Bloody Run Creek in Iowa with my buddy Blake! As the morning rolled into the afternoon, Blake just hammered down on them! There was one run where he must have chained 6 fish in a row! It was EPIC. But a front had rolled in and the rain picked up again. It seemed as though the change in weather changed the bite as well. I was able to get on some awesome fish pulling a heavy streamer rig through the deeper holes. It was seriously so much fun strip setting into a couple mean trout. One thing to note! Be super careful on these Driftelss Rivers during the rain! Watch the water levels and get the heck out of Dodge if you see that water starting to rise! But at the same time don’t be afraid of the rain!
