For the first few minutes they looked like last year. Oh well. Then they go into what looks like a continuing experiment of lineup changes. Those lob passes to O'Grady need to stop. Stuelke needs to spend a few hundred hours in the gym practicing her shots from mid-range and 3-point distance. Defense doesn't look bad but they need to continuously run plays on offense...maybe to free up shooters...and settle into a set lineup.

Watching Iowa this year is as painful as going to the dentist. I guess they are doing the best they can, but missed free throws and missed open lay-ups are torture to fans.

@@bradlindeman7417it’s her first year.. and the only reason Iowa has been any kind of good this decade is now gone to the WNBA. just admit your hopes were too high for a mediocre team with no caitlin Clark because they’re as good as they should be with a new coach & the ok recruits they do have.

Looks to me like the freshmen and Lucy are playing pretty well, missed shots and turnovers are hurting them!!! It’ll take Jan a year or two to be a very good coach!!!

Big time flop. Clueless coach . The recruiter needs to go back to nightshift at the diner . Pathetic coaching and evaluator of talent . The portal was stuffed with offensive talent . Big athletic centers . Talented forwards who could drive and hit threes . Go watch all these talented teams on Espn + Iowa will get taken to the cleaners by coaches that know offensive strategy and how to isolate a couple Iowa players and let the others miss shots and get boxed in . Embarrassing ? Understatement.

missing. where the rest of the 2nd quarter? almost the entire quarter is missing. also whats with these announcers saying a time out was called when they both still have 4 time outs. theres no time out. also stop with the word paint EVERY SINGLE MINUTE and the word bench
