Ben you did an excellent explanation for tiling. There are a lot of people that don’t know what tiling is about. Thanks for taking the time an effort, nice job. 👍🏻

Notice Ben wearing the style hat that we can't get? Sold Out. Nothing like rubbing it in. LOL I see it as a great indicator of his success today and a forecast of future success. As a aging (62) farmer, I love seeing young farmers do well. Go get'em Ben!

This is interesting for the farmer intending to invest in a plow. For those who will contract tile drainage projects, the first video is likely adequate inforrmation. Believe most farmers devote their time to learning about the mechanics of tasks they themselves tackle w/ their own hands.

BILL UPSTATE NY that’s why I made this video. I wished there was one like it on the internet to learn about plows!

@@iowANFarmer Thanks to Ben, Now there is great content for farmer/contractor who desires to really learn the principles of tile drainage. To your point, my opinion is it is the responsibility of the PLOW manufacturers to post HOW TO videos, NOT the end user farmer.

Ben has posted other tile drainage videos, through the conventional open ditch excavator method. Randy the master tile layer has some you tube content, but his self-propelled (contained) equipment seemed ($$) & complicated & if I'm paying a contractor big $, why must I understand every step undertaken,? I just want results. This plow seems rather straightforward, most farmers DIY, could be proficient in a reasonable short time.

Hi Ben, I realise you,ve just acquired the quadtrack which will no doubt far outperform a wheeled tractor but it looks to me from the video that the tyres are far to hard as there was little or no sidewall flexing , have you checked pressures or are they set at the mounting pressure which can be anything up to about 30 psi?

If your tile are totally in clay, they do no good for the area where clay is. They only transport water from the uptile area through the y.clay area. So if you are deep enough that most of the tile is in clay, you just wasted money@@iowANFarmer

If you use a case you better reinforce the hitch unlike a deere it can actually break something power to the ground nothing kills a deere faster then a magnum haahaahahhaahahahah or a parts bill from a box of green parts that will make you have a heart attack even faster hahahahahah

A lot of guys tile through their soybeans. Economically it makes a lot of sense, especially considering a farmer has a little more time to get it done after the crop is up and going. Some commercial tilers will even pay for the run over soybeans if the landowners let’s them tile through the crop. They can do this and still be profitable and keep crews busy during growing season
