During the Northern Song Dynasty, Qiao Feng, the leader of the Beggar Clan (played by Donnie Yen), was a heroic figure respected by the martial arts community. However, he was suddenly accused of being Khitan, which led to him being abandoned by his friends and allies. While searching for his true identity and seeking out his enemies, Qiao Feng met and grew close to Ah Zhu, a maid of the Murong family. As they traveled together, facing challenges at Juxianzhuang, Yanmen Pass, and Jinghu, their feelings for each other deepened. Tragically, Ah Zhu was mistakenly killed by Qiao Feng due to a plot by Madam Ma. In the end, Qiao Feng uncovered that everything was part of Murong Fu’s conspiracy to restore the Yan Kingdom. After avenging Ah Zhu by killing Murong Fu, Qiao Feng set out alone for the borderlands, carrying out Ah Zhu’s last wishes.
