Donnie Yen is such an incredible actor. He captures so many complex emotions with the subtlest shift in his eyelids (lower or upper), or the softest twitch of his brows, the slight stiffness in his chin, and sometimes just his eyes alone hold so many conflicting, ambivalent or profound emotion. His portrayal of Ip Man is one of his best, because he gives off such a strong aura, with seemingly minimum effort. The intensely calm and reserved exterior, with eyes that hold such vast, infinite compassion and wisdom. In contrast to his many other roles -- Ip Man brings a lot more of Yen's acting abilities to life. This piece is full of so much sorrow and anger; it is so hauntingly beautiful. The title is incredibly appropriate. It isn't even necessary to read the word, "righteousness" to know what this score is about. The emotions are conveyed very powerfully in the music.

I think what really struck me was how Ip man was portrayed as such a quiet, unassuming simple man. Though what made him special and personified his character was his humility and virtuous nature. Ip man is one of those rare movies that really speaks out in terms of real life application. You can always find ways to be clean spiritually and act with dignity. I love the movies but ip man in real life wasn’t like this heroic figure, the movies really just added his fight against the Japanese general and most events are fictionalized for storytelling but you can’t help but love the movies cause they really teach us lessons and ip man was shown as a Chinese superhero who wanted protect his own people from others who look down upon the chinese

I was shocked as well I wondered who trained Bruce Lee but I stumbled across the movie on a whim and when I found IP man who was never defeated even when Japan invaded China it man never lost a fight he trained Bruce Lee and I've never stopped watching The Hitman movie since then I found out his name was Donnie Yen my nickname is Donnie no one of my family ever calls me by my first name which is Maria I want to use it for business but neighborhood family Friends know me as Donnie and I was hooked ever since that's why Bruce Lee was so I'm good and it man told him in 20 years you'd be able to beat me Bruce Lee unfortunately didn't last that long it man died in 1972 Bruce Lee died I think before then I didn't discover Bruce Lee until I was a kid no until I was older my mistake but I carried on too long I just love this man and he's absolutely gorgeous it's absolutely gorgeous I have to look at him every night okay I've said enough
