Thanks Garry, its nice to see you happy with your I Pace, getting all excited with new adventures. I pick up my I Pace on Monday, take it to get its paint protection wrap and then I get to charge it for the rest of its life. Actually we were just notified by a company called Chargefox (in Australia) that by the end of the year there will be 20 ultra fast (350kw) charging locations between Brisbane and Adelaide and they have done a deal with Jaguar for free charging the I pace for 5 Years. Fantastic.

Hi Gary. I too bought an iPace and I use WATTCAT app too. A minor correction, Whattcat DOES allow you to lock the car and it also has a "camping" mode which I can not find on JLR apps!

I am about get my iPace! I am really interested in this Wattcat app given the capabilities mentioned. However, I can't see it in the App Store! Any help would be appreciated.

@@gopakumarsudhir4766 It is only available on Android. There is a iOS app called MyPace in beta. To join that beta you would need to go to ipaceforums.co.uk and search for mypace

Thanks for the videos! We are just about to order our first electric company car, iPace is an easy choice to make - we are looking forward to driving it to Holland in an attempt to reduce our air miles and reduce our carbon footprint

The issue with the reversing camera, when you rapidly change between reverse and drive and back to reverse hot me several times in the last two weeks while on holiday in Devon; on bendy narrow country lanes I would have to switch to maneuver, and when in reverse the screen would display the forward cameras which made it extremely difficult to maneuver and caused quite a bit of anxiety!!! Compared to the 0 lag camera on my Lexus IS 250, which is 13 years old, the IPace system is currently an abomination and cannot be trusted! Glad to hear a fix is on the way.

Battery is not low enough to except a faster charge. I understand the i pace only has 180 mile range, That's terrible compared to the Tesla model S at 370 mile range.

I regularly get more than 180 miles and one of the forum members recently got 300 miles. Remember also although it's quoted as 90kWh pack only 82kWh is actually available. Yes it is less efficient than the Tesla model S but not as much as some suggest

£500 for a i-pace bumper? I dented my Harley Davidson front mudguard, replacement is £535, tin part only, unpainted!

To be fair the main issue with the Ionity was the sun and I've equally had problems with that at petrol pumps in the past but I do agree they could make the process a lot simpler. Most of my charging is really straightforward and it will get better with the new protocol that allows chargers to get vehicle details when plugged in and should allow for automatic charging.

Most people’s charging is done at home and the car charges much faster from a lower state of charge

It really isn't, we had a Leaf for 6 months and found it way less hassle than our petrol car, we ended up hardly ever using it as the Leaf was charged once a week at a public charger round the corner from us over-night. Never had to stand in a cold windy petrol station. If you add up all the time you spend at a petrol station (filling, queueing to make payment) perhaps once a week, or more, then compare it with the time spent charging your ev you might be surprised at which one comes out on top
