The big question I have is can I print directly from the iPad7 or do I have to run it through my desktop computer, which has printer drivers on it. I was wondering about using the lightning-USB cable and hooking that up directly to my H-P printer. Thanks

John Samet AirPrint compatible printer will allow you to print directly from iPad. If it is connected with USB cable to a Mac (no Wi-Fi) there has been an application for the Mac that will present the connected printer as an AirPrint compatible printer. I don’t recall what it is called. If your printer is connected to the network via Wi-Fi and is reasonably new, then there is a good chance it is AirPrint compatible.

I’ve never had an ipad before and got the ipad 7 recently to use as replacement of an old laptop since I’m not a heavy user. I am ecstatic to know that it supports bluetooth mouse! I did not know that haha now my work can be done waay better. This ipad was a good purchase, thanks for the tips too!
