Just got mine in the mail today. kzbin.infoUgkxhcEDB3r-OJ3_X5hQzr7k1ZofTQy1ao_U The corners of the box was a little smashed but I think that’s more of the shipping’s fault. iPad was in perfect condition though. I ordered the yellow one thinking it was going to be a bright vibrant color. Instead I looks like more of a Gold color. I personally prefer the gold look. Definitely not disappointed but just a heads up to the ones expecting a brighter cream of yellow.

Hello, this is a long comment but I see that you're not getting enough advice to help you decide so here I'm taking my time. I'm sure you'll have decided after reading. I'd recommend you save up for the 256GB iPad 10. The reasons are because it'll be easier to work with because of the new much more spacious design, it'll last you longer with updates as it's newer than the iPad 9, and of course it'll be slightly more stable. Why you should get 256GB? It is always handy to have extra storage just in case. Use cases and purposes for the iPad might change overtime and if not, apps keep getting bigger and bigger, thus taking up more storage space in this day and age. Having more storage space also helps with extra smooth performance. The more free storage space you have, the smoother your device will run. But for an iPad, this isn't really needed because Apple is the fastest brand out there. They control both the hardware and software for absolute and exclusive optimization. (No android device can beat Apple) Overall, now that you know why you should best get 256GB since 64GB fills up quick nowadays (I currently have 39GB in use and all I have are mainly a few games, a few entertainment apps as well as a drawing app), you should then decide which model you should get. If your daughter doesn't care about the new design and is absolutely fine and/or comfortable with the old design of the iPad 9, then get her the iPad 9. But if she rather would like a more sleek, vibrant color with the renewed design which makes it look like she's got a higher-end device as all other iPads look the same, then get her the iPad 10. I'd again recommend it because of its spaciousness which is an advantage for drawing (I currently have a Tab A7 with basically the same design, I'll be upgrading to an iPad as well). See if your daughter would appreciate the spaciousness or if she could pass on that using the iPad 9. As for the processor, while the iPad 10 IS faster, both devices pretty much feel and function the same for the average consumer and the iPad 9 is still plenty fast. The only thing is that the updated processor in the iPad 10 allows for a longer lifespan than the iPad 9. You'll get at least a year extra of updates. Oh and one thing I forgot to add: USBC on the iPad 10 allows for faster charging compared to the outdated lightning cable on the iPad 9. But the lightning cable is just fine for most average consumers. So remember: 256GB because of apps advancing more and more in size. Reliable and OK iPad? Go for the iPad 9. New fresh design and a longer lifespan, + the bonus of the newest leading USBC technology? Go for the iPad 10. Hope that helped!
