The home button is fine if it brings you to home screen

bend the metal plate inwards where the home button is sat and the button will become flush

Is true Touch ID will not work even if you transfer it and the home button to a new screen? Apparently it needs soldering. You said it worked on your video but we didn't see it, cause of the passcode lock presumably.

Nope the soldering is necessary if you want magnetic case to work it's the little sensor to the bottom left that need soldering.

I was told that the button couldn't be replaced unless the mother board was replaced as well.
