it would depend on how much you plan to use it. i use my ipad everyday for doing school(which is the majority of the time) but i also use it to edit things for my youtube, watch netflix, and to draw. hope this helped!

of course! i definitely have to make note taking videos! i choose a glass screen bc paper-like screen protectors get scratched up depending on how much you use your pencil on it. they also reduce the quality of your screen. for those reasons i chose glass, although it is lacking the nice grip paper-like screen protectors have on the pencil. glad you enjoyed (๑>ᴗ

Paperlike is worth it if you use the Apple Pencil a lot, and I also noticed that my finger smudges were barely noticeable. The screen reflects less light and I can actually see the screen when I’m outside. It won’t damage the Apple Pencil and the screen doesn’t get scratched (I think) but the package comes with two protectors anyways. The choice is yours, I’d recommend checking out some reviews or checking out some websites. If you don’t use the Apple Pencil a lot, there wouldn’t be much difference except one is matte while the other isn’t.

@@nicolegiron664 no problem. I have been using it for about a year now so my tip isn’t old enough for me to give personal advice about it, but you could get a tip protector. I’ve heard some people talk about their tips wearing out after about 2 years but I don’t know if it’s because of the screen protector or not. Paperlike 2 claims that their screen won’t damage the pencil but you can choose whether to believe it or not. I like paperlike I guess, there’s nothing that bothers me. I’m more used to paper and pencil so it helped me adapt to digital art faster, and it has a good grip that I like. It feels a lot like paper, touching the screen is like touching paper. It’s not the exact same feeling as paper though, but it‘s close. A problem though is the matte screen makes the light travel less far, and the screen isn’t as bright and slick as a glass protector. I haven’t tried a glass protector but I have tried the bare screen. It didn’t have much of a grip and it was a tiny but harder to control. I did get used to it after a bit, but I wasn’t as comfortable as I am now. I have oily skin so the oils from my skin stayed on the screen, after enough build up, the pencil would skip a bit. You can easily wipe it off and undo your mistake but it’s bothersome when doing a long art session. That’s just the bare screen, but otherwise, I haven’t used a glass protector. If you’re ever unsure, feel free to ask more or do some research :) have a good day!

Really having a hard time deciding between an iPad Air (4) 64gb with the magic keyboard and pencil or the new Pro 11” and wait/save for the extras. Wait for it to ship and wait for the pencil and keyboard as I save for a few months to get those accessories. Or get the 64 air. My budget is tight, but I’ll get the education discount. The difference between the 256 air and 128 pro is like $50. But the 64 air would give me room for those necessary accessories and no waiting. I sold my MacBook Air laptop to make this happen. I have a desktop iMac I rarely use. Main use for iPad will be writing papers, web browsing, email, bit of zoom, media consumption and streaming, reading, editing photos, note taking and light drawing. Playing some games. It will be my first iPad in many years and I’m really excited. What would you do? Is 64gb enough?
