@@josh-qj3ed well, with the new m1 chip for the air 5, it will run games very smoothly and fast, the air 4 can do same, but it doesn't have the m1 chip. the air 4 is a good choice if u want a more affordable ipad air, but the ipad airs are so close to the price of an ipad pro, you might just have to save and pay it all for the ipad pro, yet again, i would love ipad air 5 if i had enough, ipad air 4 is a good choice too, but these two seemed like they were made just to push up sales of the ipad pro.

I had a 10th gen iPad kzbin.infoUgkxUGaHtKW8MwCql2fPyIm9-ftTqSMzKFFA . Felt it getting pretty slow at times even after doing a reset. So I am using that as a tablet for my 5 year old son and got this 9th gen version. MUCH faster, a little slimmer, smaller bezels, all around a leap forward. Plus, for the price that’s about $130-$150 cheaper than a current new model this is a nice deal. I look forward to the M-series CPUs coming into iPads which will really help future proof these tablets better but these latest CPUs are pretty strong and should do better to last several years with no compromises.

Paper like protectors can wear down your pencil nib pretty quickly. I’ve seen people recommend using a silicone cover instead of the paperlike protector

Paperlike (the actual brand) protector is good but the one that is expensive, it doesnt wear down the pencil nib. But the other amazon ones do wear down the oencil nib. Still, the Paperlike brand is not worth the price because after 2 or 3 months of use it will lose the paper-like feel and get greasy pretty easy, at least from my experience as someone who constantly takes notes and sometimes draws. And about the silicone cover, i personally dont like it cuz the ones i bought fell down pretty fast and its the same as just using a glass protector

Looking to buy a new iPad and really want to go for the pink Air, it does look very subtle and lovely. I never use screen protectors, not even on my iPhone, so I don't have to think about that, lol. I want the writing experience and feel to be optimal, with nothing in between the pen and the screen. The first and last time I bought an iPad was waaaay back in 2013 and I never ended up using it much, but now I'm really excited to start journaling and planning in something like GoodNotes about my crafting hobby, and now with the Apple pencil I could do that easily by using hand writing, and maybe finally pick up my drawing hobby as well. Awesome video. I got mine when they first came out I was in love with the pink. I actually down graded from my rose gold air 4 just to get the pink. Using the paper like screen protector is based on your needs really if you want to use it for planning, digital drawing and taking notes on your iPad I would go for it (it does wear out the nib tho) but if you want to edit with it game with it, ect I'll go for a glass screen protector

@@darmaine it has some display issues that can't be solved🙁 for example words have yellow and green shadows on their left side, or right side of the screen has a black line☹️ but anyway.... I love everything about the air and it's colours are awesome 🤩. with M1 there is just pro motion and thunderbolt the differences between pro & air.

Ok so for the paper like screen protector. It honestly depends what you’re using it for. If you are using the iPad to writing, taking notes, or draw k would get paper like. But if you are going to game and usually use your hands to play it might not be the best. But if you’re drawing, taking notes, and playing. I would get the glass protector like I am. Sorry if it isn’t the best description these are just my assumptions and what I heard of. Oh ya also with the paper like screen protector it does get scratched easily without the Apple Pencil tip. Well not easily but it does get scratched if you apply to much pressure so people usually use the tip protector for the Apple Pencil. But there won’t be finger prints so that’s good. Sorry if this is really long and my assumptions might be wrong, I ist heard from other people. Anyway I really like your iPad!! I have to get straight A’s to get the IPad Air 4, wish me luck!!

Ever since I received my iPad Air 4 in Sky Blue as a birthday present in 2021, I have been hooked on iPad Airs since. Before that, in high school I used a crappy iPad that my high school issued everyone and I wasn't one of the lucky ones to receive a newer version. I will never purchase a pro, mini, or a regular iPad. iPad Airs only for me now on! :D

I prefer tempered glass over paper only because paper changes the display colours and as someone who does art I prefer to have glass where it's true to what is being displayed. If I'm using purple, I want it to be purple and not some off tint version of it. Paper screens throw me off. I've always used glass but enough videos of people sharing their experience with it, and even my sister who also complained of the display being totally different and not true is why I kept going through with glass. And I heard they wear down the nibs way faster than glass.

When I first got my iPad I installed a paperlike since everyone was talking about it and I really didn’t like it, the image was really grainy, didn’t like how it felt when I was writing or drawing and it irritated my fingertips since it’s textured. So after about 1-2 months I changed to a regular old school plastic screen protector (didn’t like how the glass screen protector was a lot thicker) and I like it a lot better. I don’t find it too slippery with the original Apple Pencil tips, but there are some online that are made of a harder plastic so it’s harder to control, absolutely hated the silicone tips. It’s really a matter of personal preference, so if you end up feeling like you didn’t adapt to the glass you can always change it later 😊 Oh, and if you plan on writing or drawing for long periods of time I think having a pencil sleeve helps with the grip, I have one from uppercase that shows the engraving as well!
