Actually seeing HOW you use layers is useful to me. I draw on my photos and photos of my drawings and I like to add text of poems or my own writing. I have a tendency to go by the seat of my pants, then I can’t reproduce my beginners luck. I’ve watched your Procreate 4 tutorial and it is helpful in ‘seeing’ what you are doing on this one, with the layers, brush choice and creating a pallet. Thanks for the colors!

This painting is phenomenal. In trying to recreate it with the color palette I have two issues. First is my colors don't look quite the same as your video. Not sure why that is. They are entered correctly maybe it's the cameras that makes it appear differently. Second - my brush strokes just never look like yours. Your strokes are usually smooth where as mine are hatched. I think I'm using the same brush and opacity as you and brush size just can't make it look right. Any suggestions? I have learned so much from your tutorials but texture and perspective are the hardest. Not sure if you could maybe explain that a little more as you go and maybe go a little slower for those difficult pieces. But please keep up the tutorials. Love them.

I use less pressure with the pencil perhaps. The camera, plus your own screen might make everything change colours

Difficult to advise on the subject of motivation. For me I just enjoy the process and exploring what can happen with my imagination. Previously I used to love copying images and refining my skills. I suggest just finding an image that you find inspiring and try copying it.

Great art! The last thing i would add is a light on the bottom of the clouds which originate from the Sun. Unless the Sun is beneath the clouds ;) Cheers!
