I am and can imagine it! You can get to where she is by practicing anatomy, learning lighting, studying from references, and being willing to draw/paint challenging subjects/scenes! For example, I’m technically disadvantaged from drawing because I have a proprioceptive disorder that makes spatial reasoning and manual dexterity difficult. I had to go to therapy just to learn how to hold a pencil and other dexterous and proprioceptive tasks. Even now if somebody shows me how to do something with their hands, I have lots of trouble actually manipulating my hands to do the same thing. People who know of my disorder say it’s a “miracle” I know how to draw, but it’s really because i triumphed through it; until the last four years and especially the jump this year in 2020, most of my art looked pretty bad and mediocre, but when I began to learn those things I talked about above, I was able to improve. Also having access to digital tools such as Streamline/Line Correction helped me to get a wider range of looks. Although, I won’t say that I don’t have problems. I can draw like RinSpirit and am a fast colorist, but I take much more time to do the actual sketching and drawing than she does (drawing a sketch like that would probably take me 10-30 minutes versus the time she takes), and that’s a problem that will take me a long time to overcome; but I can’t be frustrated because I understand that I am uniquely disadvantaged in some ways. I also have autism, which is a can of worms in its own way. But basically, what I’m saying is that, with practice, you can draw like her. I wish you good luck! 🤗👍

Hii, i have a question for you, Rin~(also if anyone else can answer, please do heh) Is digital art harder than traditional art? Im asking because im switching from paper to Ipad in a few days and i needed some tips, but i feel like the simpler question is just to ask which one is harder. And i know that you have to get used it and stuff but how long did it take you to master it and be great at it? Years, im guessing, because most people tell me that.😂 Great video, like usual✋❤🥺

It depends on people. If you just started drawing or a beginner, maybe drawing on paper is a lot more easier! Drawing digital is for the people who had much more experiences on drawing? (Or maybe not). Sometimes, i also struggles to draw on paper because if you wanted to make the character a little bit smaller on your canvas, it’ll be hard xD. But if you draw digitaly, you could just transform them! So i might say drawing digitaly would be the best! ( And you might have to learn all the basics :> )

Hello rin rin again!!! my reply is so so late but i loved every moment of the video! i have one small question tho.. when you use PTS for digital art whoes brushes would you say are the closest that would work for photoshop that you use.

hello! Hmmm i would say any simple round brush would work! I usually turn blending off and have the opacity set to 90%-100% ! Also probably not 100% hardness but tbh all of those are all preference! I think its easiest to learn how to colour using a round brush then tweak as you go. Thats how i find any settings for any of my painting brushes!
