I have this iPad and trust me this is smooth af. I have been playing many games like bgmi, codm, apex legends mobile and I never face lagging problem or framedrop. It always gives 60 FPS constantly but in (smooth + 60 FPS). If incase you will change graphics to HD or more than HD then you may face frame drop but in smooth graphichs you will get constant 60 fps

I have this iPad.If you are playing in fan or ac then it it doesn't overheat.cant play while charging as the touch doesn't response sometimes. With 100% battery it gives 3hrs back-up of BGMI. Gameplay is very smooth if it not overheats. If you want to purchase it for gaming I would recommend you to go for newer version.
