same! i think a lot of students go for the 11 inch for portability but i got this for the same price that i would've gotten the 11 inch, but its not terribly big! WOOHOO you're gonna love it

Aud rey since school is over for me and i didn’t get a chance to fully use good notes during school, i can’t say for sure how i feel about it. however, for the things i have been using it for have been great and i’m sure i’ll love it for school as well! i think it’s a good $7 investment haha if u take intense notes for school, it’s totally worth it but if it’s just to jot things down here and there, the notes app on the ipad is fine :-)

yes it fine but you just won’t get those updates. but the ipad will still work fine. i have a ipad mini 1 and it works good but it just doesn’t have the new updates

Notrealduddy i’m glad you enjoyed the video! the box looks different because it is a certified refurbished product so they put it in a different box (although i can assure u the quality is like brand new) if you get the ipad brand new, then no, the box will look different and it will have the apple wallpaper on the front! hope this helps

hmm depends... it can definietely replace a laptop if ur doing google searches and things but for heavy video editing, coding, and things like that, i think a laptop is better. i have both a laptop and the iPad so it's nice to switch between both, but if you don't have a laptop and you're a student, i would suggest getting a laptop first. the iPad is really nice for taking handwritten notes (rather than typing) and really portable.

btw to anyone thinking of getting a paper-like screen protector- yes it does make it feel like writing on paper kinda but it also really reduces the quality of the screen. I don't have one, but I decided not to get one because of this. If you plan on just drawing/writing on it, that's cool, but if you're wanting to watch movies and shows then I wouldn't recommend it because it would make it all grainy and less fun to watch. Again, this is just what I've heard, just a fair warning.
