I have been using an iPad ever since they were released. The company I worked for purchased them for their entire field staff and overnight transformed the entire reporting process and experience. When I eventually left and went to another company I purchased my own. I upgrade when there is a sufficient reason to,ie it will fill a real need. My two primary considerations are battery life and the rear camera. I take 50+ pictures every day for work and when Apple equipped the pro versions with an ultra wide angle lens I immediately got the 12.9 pro. My current model is the 2021 version and the battery life is approaching the point where I have to make a decision. Purchase a new one or replace the battery in my current model. Apple made the decision easier for me. They removed the ultra wide angle lens from the rear. For some reason they think that no one uses the rear camera. Ivan’s comments on purchasing for what it does now not what it might do in the future is sound advice.

I use my iPad Pro 13 inch M4 for reading content and my Samsung Galaxy tab s9 Ultra for watching content. Both are great devices!

I wish tablets and phones were thicker with larger batteries. I shave with a razor not my tablet. Just my opinion. This thinness craze just means more fragile products that need to be replaced or repaired more often.

I guess everyone's use case is different. If you're someone who uses the tablet "in hand" all the time, light and thin is important. For me... I use it laying on a table or on the magic keyboard so weight isn't a huge issue.

I use the 13 as a second monitor for my mbp so size is a huge factor. I use a ipad mini to just watch KZbin.

I returned my 13inch and got the 11. The 4x3 aspect ratio on the 13 sucks when watching movies. Zooming in is like watching something on a monitor from the late 80s. Way more enjoyable on the 11inch. Actually the size is pretty much the same and zooming in on the 11inch you still keep most titles in the frame. The speakers were not that much better either. You get more for your money with the 11inch. Took my 512g 13 back and got the 1TB 11inch and only paid $50 more.

Good point! I agree, I personally prefer the 11 inch, which is also why I bought the magic keyboard specifically for that one
@eddiemunoz36774 ай бұрын
@@IvanKam11 The Magic Keyboard is awesome with it. I got the white one. If Apple made the 13inch just slightly narrower I’d definitely get it but the portability of the 11 just wins over anything else.

I used to go with the small cheaper iPads until I used a 13” and never looked back. The sound and screen is too much nicer on the 13”.

I really like this 13 inch iPad air and I had planned on trading my pad pro 11 inch 4th Gen M2 in towards this 13 inch iPad Air until I realized Apple had to ruin the phenomenal iPad by not at least it having a 90 hertz refresh rate. This iPad actually should have it and there is just no excuse. This why I only have one apple product. They are so greedy and worried about not allowing their products dare have similar needed features. Apple missed the mark on using 60hrtz on what should have at least 90hrtz. I would traded my iPad pro 11 4th Gen M2. I'm not shocked with Apple. Great review!
