I upgraded from a 4th gen iPad Pro. I bought the same one you have, but with the glossy screen. I prefer to use a matte screen protector. I am loving how much faster Procreate is now. It’s taking me a while to get used to the squeeze feature of the new Apple Pencil. I’m so used to holding it tightly that I accidentally squeeze too often lol.

Can I ask you how is about pwm? I read that because of the new OLED screen ppl eyes hurt 😵 I’m using LCD but ordered 13 m4 so worried if I’m sensitive to pwm or no 🥲 was can’t test it on shop ((

haven’t had any issues either so far :)) but I ALWAYS wear my blue light blocking and anti-reflection glasses when looking at screens, that absolutely helps!

@@epeehammu I mainly use my iPad for drawing and occasionally note-taking, so I wouldn't know about a continuous usage on 4K KZbin videos! For now the battery is holding up pretty well, but I guess it'll get worse and worse over time like all devices' batteries do

so happy you liked the video ☺ unfortunately yes, I've been using it for around a month now and I've noticed the iPad gets pretty hot sometimes! I think it's a common issue for this model 🥲 I'm hoping it won't be this bad once summer is over and colder weather arrives

@@isabella_agosti ah good to hear I am not the only one! I think it’s software issue .. for me running it in low power mode helps to keep it cool. Hopefully it will be fixed in future updates 👍🏻

do you think 256gb is enough for drawing?

it depends on how many drawings you make, if you plan on keeping them all on your iPad, if you save all the time-lapses, the resolution of the time-lapses you save and so on. I usually make around 3 to 4 illustrations a week, keep them all into Procreate and save all the time-lapses at maximum resolution, so that's why I quickly outgrew my old iPad's storage of 256GB 🥰 hope this helps!

absolutely positive so far! I've had it for a few months and it's been great, allowing me to seamlessly switch between my MacBook and my Windows PC which is exactly why I purchased it :) and the resolution is great too!

How do you do the transfer from the old ipad to the new ipad? Is it through icloud? After the apps transfer, is the contents inside the apps the same?

if you have an iPhone or iPad with iOS 11, iPadOS 13 or later, you can use Apple's Quick Start feature to automatically set up your new device :) you basically turn on your new device and place it near your old one and then follow the onscreen instructions! It lets you pick how to transfer your data - either from iCloud or direct transfer. I picked direct transfer here and yes, it basically copies and pastes all your old device's content into the new one
