I have the M1 12.9 iPad Pro and now the M4 13 inch Pro. The battery life of the M1 really is terrible by comparison. Other than that it's still a great tablet.

The M4 13 inch has a 10,340 mAh battery and the M1 12.9 has a 10,758 mAh battery. The reason the battery life is terrible in comparison is because you are comparing a 3+ year old battery to a brand new one 🙄. The M4 isn’t *that* much more energy efficient than the M1 - in 3 years time the M4 13 inch will be just as bad.
