Thank you for your reply, I was drawn in by Yufine's painting style. It had an impact on me when I saw Van Gogh's sunflowers. I have been painting portraits thickly in Procreat APL with my iPadPro for several years now, and I like Alexis Franlin's work. My current procedure is to fill in the subject with a neutral color, then paint the base with a nichoal or brush pen in the order of dark shadows and light shadows, and then finish with details. In addition, I sometimes paint with the grisaille technique. I don't understand how to paint because the procedure is completely different from that of YuFine's partial painting. Is there a rule about the order of layering, or from the darkest to the lightest part of the painting? Sorry for asking a very beginner's question, but I would like to learn as much as I can about YuFine's painting style. I have read all the comments on artSet4. There are many different painting techniques, but what is the traditional painting technique? Impact technique? Sorry for the lack of coherent text. Thank you in advance.
