This song takes me back to 1998 when Rev F.S. Modise was laid to rest... I still vividly remember how emotional my mum was hence panicking thinking that the disease which brought her to IPHC would come back. May his soul continue to rest in peace. He healed so many people & restored their human dignity which was taken away by the devil.

I loved this song as a kid I don't even understand it since I'm a tswana.the old man healed me ke sa leboga le today

@@kelebogilelou2858 the song literally means just put your whole trust & faith in God hands he'll see you through Just like a tree that has been planted near the river. It gets more water, food & protection more than the other trees which are planted far away from the flowing river. At home I speak Xitsonga & Sepedi so It might not be 100% accurate. My knowledge of Isizulu & Isixhosa is about 80-90%.

@@Stirlingshirecastle Othemba ummeli wophila njalo njenge sihlala esimile eduze komfula ,the meaning is: The one who trust the Lord will leave like a tree that is standing next to the river, remember the tree that is next to the river is always have green leaves because of water

One of the unknown legends of this song I've recently found out he played the beautiful guitar here is Ntokozo Zungu. This interview he taks about it with Thami Mdluli the producer, let's hear their journeys before we lose all of our legends. Have a blessed one. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jYiXZ6Z9o9ufp7Msi=FWHTHQroQzfcK9Cm
