So my odometer on my 1989 volvo 240DL stopped at 170725 miles. It won't go any further than that. I just want to make sure that this is the right tutorial for replacing the odometer gear. Speedometer works but I can't tell for sure how much miles I've put on it.

I picked up a 1992 240 whose odometer doesn’t work. Will replacing the gears using your kit do the trick to make it work again? Also, whats the fastest way to roll forward and rectify the odometer?

When you see how easy it is, and how much it would cost to have it done if you were to have it done at the dealer, it is cheaper to do it yourself, another DIY project you can do and save money.

Hye there , need help with the temperature n fuel gauge....needles only move when I connect the yellow wyre from the temp sensor under the intake manifold to positive and not ground..pls help..

I did that, except no Vaseline for the gear, I followed another tutorial , don't know of it's important, but it seems like my odometer isn't counting all the kilometers...
