iPhone 11 Digitizer Repair How-To

Welcome back to another simple repair, the iPhone 11 digitizer and LCD replacement guide! I'll show you step by step how to open, remove and replace your iPhone 11 screen safely and effectively. Trying to get our repair as close to factory by also replacing the water and dust resistant gasket of adhesive surrounding the display. The repair is straightforward and simple with only minimal traps inside.
NOTE: I would typically copy the truetone serial over, but on the iPhone 11 for some reason my iCopy tool reads them as a vibrate motor and errors out.

All iPhone 11 screens have only 2 connectors instead of 3 as shown in the video. Is it okay to buy such one with 2 connectors? Thank you!

The screens themselves only have two connectors, the third is from the earspeaker at the top. So any you buy will only have two connectors.

The 3rd connector at the top is for the frontspeaker.

Thanks! Most local places will be between $150-$200 from what I've seen. I don't offer mail in services just yet, but check some reviews for nearby shops, and avoid any mall-based repair shops!

Yeah the back plates obviously do serve a purpose haha. They help keep your ribbon cables connected and apply pressure lol

My iPhone 11 pro max screen suddenly stops responding in certain parts of my screen (vertical line area on the left side), but the screen itself is 100% fine and touch works fine on the other part of my screen. Can this issue be fixed without replacing the screen? (i already tried a hard reset with no success)

@@webpro607 unfortunately no, that's definitely a sign of needing a new screen. Hopefully it's nothing wrong with the board, but in 9/10 cases it's just the screen

Yes they come as one piece, trying to do them separately should only be attempted by a skilled refurbisher

Hi, a quick question, if an iphone 11's screen's suddenly stopped touching, can baking or changing the touchpad make it work instead of changing the entire screen

Definitely not, board baking is only for reattaching loose solder joints. For a touchscreen the likely cause is a short in one of the wires, baking it would only make the short stronger. Best bet would be replacing, thankfully the iPhone 11 screen isn't too expensive.
