I was actually missing the “trackpad” feature. I used it a lot on the iPhone 8+ but the way to use it on the 8+ was by 3D Touching on the keyboard.

The phone assumes because it is on silent that you need it to stay quiet so videos are muted. Facebook does these same thing but offers a sound toggle at the bottom corner if you want to hear the video that is autoplaying.

Tap on the Instagram video post and it will allow sound. Also in stories hit the volume button. Either up or down. Works for me

Idk if you could do this before but the way that you slide the button to record in the camera app is also a way that you can record something with your song still playing in the background while using Bluetooth. Before you would have to use another app.

when swipe-typing, you don't have to press the space bar after each word. Just swipe the next word and it inserts a space automatically

Go to Settings > Photos and turn off 'Auto-Play Videos and Live Photos'. iOS 13 mutes videos in the photos app when autoplay is on, to prevent noise being played from your phone if you unintentionally swipe to a video. You can turn off auto play, which removes the default 'mute'
