iPhone 12 how to remove stripped bottom screw

I have this problem but you already had the ribbon cable protector cover removed on this device. If the connection cover (with tri-point screws) is still on, how can your method work? It seems it wouldn’t be possible without destroying the screen, or maybe I missed something?

that would be hard to open up this way. but I do the same way if the metal plate is still there , just push the lcd from the bottom to opposite until the screw holes are released from the bottom screws. but it would be very risky. im sorry

@@iqbaliqbaaal Well, in most instances where you’re wishing to remove the screen, it’s broken anyways. So, I suppose it wouldn’t matter much to destroy the screen if you’re replacing it either way. Thanks

I did it with everything still intact without damaging the earpiece flex or lcd, just slowly make your way from the top of lcd to the bottom, don't rush be patient and apply heat and alcohol, also good thing to do to avoid bruising the pendalobe screws is to clean any dust or dirt from them or clean your 0.8 screwdriver ocasionally, in my case I'll be replacing it with a new one soon, as bruising the screws is becoming more and more often

@@unknownx9093 I actually used this method as well and didn’t damage any internal cables that I could see. My screen was, however, already damaged to the point of unusable, so I didn’t have much concern when going this route nonetheless, nothing seems like it would have been damaged even if the screen was usable. I still couldn’t get the screw out, even from the inside. So, instead, I chose to snip the frame border, the part screw slides through on the bottom, off on the new screen, on that half.

@@dylanteribury yes you can also cut or bend the the piece on lcd that goes around the screw if you're having a trouble getting the screw out just use small bit pliers and bend the screw from inside and then rotate it out as you'll have a better grip on the screw

From iphone 6 to iphone 11 this solution will work without damaging the screen but sbove eleven its very difficult so i have recieved iphone 13 pro fir reciever issue but the both bottom screws are slipped so tomorrow i will have solution for this
