iPhone 12 Mini & Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G Comparison - Flagship Lovers

I've had a Galaxy S20FE for a year now and no regrets about its performance, but the size does bother me a little, I can't reach the top of the screen and I'm the kind of person who prefers easier access to corners rather than bigger screen size, so I'm considering getting an iPhone mini next. But since I'll only upgrade it by the end of next year, maybe I'll get the 13 mini or even the 14 mini, which will probably have 120hz display (please, Apple!!!!). It'll definitely be a shock going back to a 60hz display, but after a couple of days one doesn't even notice it anymore, unless they alternate between displays of 120 and 60 on a regular basis. Side note: I really liked your video, so, I'm subscribing!

The choice between iPhone and Samsung is driven more by iOS vs Android than any specific features. As someone who professionally sets up peoples phones and computers (yes this is a job!) most members of the public really struggle switching from one OS to other. And now all the cloud services are baked in, it’s basically unrealistic to use those days transfer apps to switch. You’re really one or the other, at least when it comes to your daily driver. And yes I can’t wait for 120Hz screens I can’t believe Apple hasn’t done it yet!

Yay! I hope you enjoy it. My tip for the battery life is to put the Low Power Mode in your Control Centre for quick access to enable or disable. If you have a big day when you'll be outside and not near a battery bank or AC you can easily turn on Low Power Mode.

Thanks Denis! Both of my reviews have entire section on sound but I can tell you that they are both great. Their basically on-par from my ears but I'm not an Audio engineer or expert. I would say it's an achievement of the 12 Mini because it's such a small phone that it can get so loud. The microphones in them are also really great. My iPhone Camera video all sound is recorded on that Microphone, you can hear the S20 FE Microphone in some camera tests on that video.

I don't upgrade my phone every 2 yrs. I think these unlocked phones should last at least 8 or 9 years. The sad part is these service providers and companies are sort of forcing us to buy new phones. I need a phone where if I accidentally drop it, it won't have any scratches or any breaks
