zoom always gets better on iphone xs.Because it has a telephoto lens instead of ultra wide lens on iphone 12,and ultra wide is much more epic or fun than a telephoto lens.anyway very interesting comparison ❤️

Yes, but zoom is so much better than Ultra Wide. Yes, don’t get me wrong. Ultra Wide is amazing and I’m sure there are other apps that you can download on an older iPhone X or XS to get that feature but it’s not really that useful but it is a cool feature to have if you do have it but I have an iPhone 14 Pro but the mini should still have had at least 10 X zoom maybe 15 X zoom and it’s 2024 in less than 11 months and you still have 5X zoom? What if you wanna see what the sign says before you get there and you can’t zoom in that far to see you have to get closer and closer it’s just stupid, that way you don’t even have to go out and you can zoom in farther with the 14 pro and promax and be able to see if the restaurant is closed before even getting there with the menu. You have to be literally right next to the building like 2 feet away just to see it and then by then it’s too late Apple if you can see this text you better release another mini phone or somewhat of a smaller phone that can zoom in at least 10 X with either a mini phone or an SE phone or something because 5X in 2023/2024 is not gonna cut it

I mean in general, it’s only a two year gap if you think about it, cause the access is basically just the same as the iPhone X It’s the same sensor, just somewhat newer because it’s an S upgrade so it’s not much of an upgrade because it was an S year with the iPhone XS so in terms of upgrades, it’s only two years because the access is using the same sensor as the iPhone X from 2017 so it’s literally only a two year upgrade but in terms of upgrades just because it’s new or it doesn’t mean it’s better. I mean she has the iPhone 12 mini her mom does and yes because it has two lenses it in terms of detail, but it’s not good in terms of zoom because of that telephoto lens not being there if it had LiDAR and a telephoto zoom lens, with two cameras, LiDAR and telephotos and lens on the 12 mini or even the 13 mini, then it would probably zoom in just as far as the tennis match maybe even farther but it just seems like they don’t care that much about the iPhone mini when it comes to the zoom It can only zoom in 5x Vs 10x which is pretty shitty but it’s still more than an iPod touch can zoom into but the mini still isn’t much of an upgrade from the Xs because it’s the same thing as the iPhone X so I mean technically it’s an upgrade if you would call it that even though it’s the same sensor from the iPhone X. May be slightly better, but it doesn’t make a good upgrade from an iPhone X unless you have an older iPhone than upgrading to the iPhone XS is a decent upgrade, but from the XS to the 12 mini in terms of zoom, it seems like apple doesn’t care about the zoom on the iPhone mini. That is why it has less detail and can’t zoom and farther. I mean you can zoom in at max 5X on the 12 mini or even 13 mini and then you can zoom in after that but even that is worse even if you take a photo after zooming in after taking a 5X photo on the 12 mini, it’s just worse than the XS but in terms of detail, the mini is better if Apple can release a 15 mini this year or even a 16 mini next year hopefully they’ll focus on zoom alone because the iPhone 14 Pro can zoom in farther than a 13 mini and that only came out two years ago and the 12 mini came out three years ago and both the 12 mini and 13 mini can only zoom in to 5X pretty crappy that’s the same zoom as the iPhone SE three and iPhone SE two from 2020 and 2022 both can only zoom and five acts like the 12 mini and 13 mini pretty crappy the 14 pro is only technically a year older than the 12 mini and 13 mini because the 13 mini has the same sensors as the 12 mini just more light can come in that’s it it’s the same 12 megapixel sensor on the XS and the 12 mini have 12 megapixels so it hasn’t changed much in the 13 mini also has a 12 megapixel sensor so if they do make another mini in the future and then you could compare the XS to the 15 mini or 16 mini if that ever happens in 2023/2024 hopefully they revive the mini phone because then the 15 mini or 16 mini or whatever it's called by then hopefully it will have LiDAR for a better lol light Photos and videos so it can Zoom up to 10X or 15X or maybe even 20X 13 mini with that 12 megapixel camera you can go into the magnifier app and be able to zoom up to 15X because you can zoom in an extra 10X with that app if you want to and the menu phone then it would be so much better it would be able to zoom in to 15X Zoom digitally on the 12 mini or 13 mini for now until Apple can fix this with a new many, if that ever happens in the future, but it seems like the mini is dead for now, but that’s the only way you’ll be able to zoom in farther than the iPhone XS just until now, even the iPhone XS would be able to zoom in even farther up to 30X with that app the Magnifier app, but that is the only way to get farther zoom on the iPhone to reach the iPhone 14 pro level of zoom with both of these phones or just upgrade to a 14 Pro from the 12 mini that’s the best move or from a XS to a 14 pro

12 is newer so it’s going to be better obviously but the 13 mini would be way better if you were comparing a 12 minute of the 13 mini the 12 mini is better it’s sharper and darker

Is suck that just by default it can only assume up to 5X zoom on the 12 mini/13 mini case they both have the same sensor and the iPhone XS by default can only zoom up to 10X yeah, that is better than the 12 mini but the 12 mini has more detail even if it can’t zoom in that far or even farther than that for now it looks like for the mini phone you have to download a separate zoom app in order to do that, and then it would have better quality than the XS no matter what even if you both have the same app that will zoom in farther the magnifier app and every photo you take with that app gets saved to your camera roll. If you give it access which is OK but the 14 pro has 15X zoom by default and it has an UltraWide sensor which the XS does not have even though it has better zoom. It still does not have an ultraWide sensor. So the photos overall zoomed in and won’t look that great but for the 12 mini if you get the Magnifier app or even on the 13 mini and you go into that app, you will be able to zoom in up to at least 10X/15X which is just as good as the 14 Pro/14 Pro Max it is sad that the 12 mini/13 mini by default in the camera app can’t zoom in over 5X zoom which is pretty crappy because that’s the same amount of zoom as the iPhone 14 and iPhone, 14+ standard models and the same zoom as the iPhone SE2/iPhone SE3 which is pretty sad because those are the only four phones that have 5X zoom and it probably won’t be fixed until like I said any iPhone 15 or 16 because the standard 15 is getting a 48 megapixel camera so if they make another mini in the future you better hope to God I can at least zoom in 15X but for now, 5X zoom on the mini is still better on the 12 mini/13 mini than it is on the iPod touch. I think the iPod touch can only zoom in up to like 3X or something maybe I can zoom up to five ask I’m not sure, but either way it’s not very far in my opinion Apple needs to come out with another mini phone to be Samsung S10E, because the iPhone 12 mini/iPhone 13 mini can only zoom in up to 5X zoom and all the S10 models the S10E the S10 the S10+ and the S10 5G can all zoom in to 10X optical zoom so automatically those are still better than the mini iPhone even though that phone came out in 2019 and the 12 mini came out in 2020 and the 13 mini came out in 2021 in general the S10 all of them are older than the mini and can still zoom in farther than the mini phone, which does not make any sense because they’re older they shouldn’t be able to zoom in farther than a newer phone. It’s kind of upsetting if you ask me hopefully they add more zoom rather than keeping 5X zoom on the 12 mini, the 13 mini the iPhone 14 budget models and the iPhone SE two and iPhone SE 35 phones with the same zoom level five years in a row. If Apple releases another mini phone or whatever phone they release next and it still has 5X zoom there’s no point in selling out over $600 for any phone that doesn’t have any zoom level that’s higher than 5X or even 10X zoom by then we should be able to zoom in on all smart phones that are newer up to 20 X or more by 2024 no phone should still have 5X zoom by then but the way the mini is going it seems like it’s going to stay that way which is sad. I mean you get Ultra Wide and you get a normal wide-angle camera you don’t need more than two cameras to be able to do more than 5X zoom I mean the SE2 and S E3 have one camera and can do 5X zoom and the mini has two cameras no LiDAR no telephoto camera and that is just sad and it’s got more cameras than the SE phones currently have and still have the same amount of zoom that’s pretty messed up so this is just a message to Apple can you please at least add 10X zoom to the mini or any new phone that you have that is your smallest phone whether it has 1 camera 2 cameras, 3 cameras or 4 cameras in 2024 would be great but if we still have 5X zoom on a mini phone or any of the smallest phones that you can get from Apple in 2024, still in 2024 there will be a problem I will go to the Apple headquarters, no matter how far away it is and ring Tim Cook’s neck hypothetically speaking but I will have to give him a good old spanking because 5X zoom in 2024 is not acceptable I mean clearly the 14 Pro can do it and the 15 is going to get to 48 megapixel camera so they’re clearly adding it to the 15 and 15+ why can’t you make a mini with that type of zoom because the 14+ is going to have the same two cameras that the 12 mini and 13 mini have and it will have 48 megapixels and be able to zoom in at least 15X just like the 14 Pro can do only a year later but the mini or just any 12 or 13 phone is 3 to 4 years old the 12 all models have all the same cameras just like the 13s do not a change there but they’ve had that zoom level for 2 to 3 years. It’s time for a change is 2023. Please bring a mini or some type of compact phone with more than 5X zoom please Apple. It’s going to be 2024 in one year and the mini still has 5X zoom. What a joke I mean it is better than an iPhone 4 or iPhone 5 or even iPhone 6. But those are older I get it but still the 5X zoom has been there since the iPhone 8 back in 2017 it’s been six years almost 7 years in 2023 that 5X zoom has been there it’s time for an upgrade Apple it’s just ridiculous how it’s going to be 2024 literally in less than 11 months pretty damn soon because time is going by so fast. And they’re still going to have 5X zoom. What a joke the mini is but nice video I guess very entertaining I guess to see the differences between 2 years even though there’s not much that’s why I’ve never bought in a small phone because it never consume in that far. The first iPhone I had was the iPhone 11 ro max and it could zoom in farther than the iPhone 12 mini and 13 mini because it’s the same camera, but then I bought the 14 promax. From a 11 Pro Max and yes it definitely could zoom in more than 10X to 12X or whatever the zoom was, it could’ve still been 10X from the XS iPhone but still it’s so much better now with the 14 promax than any mini phone ever released by Apple or a small phone released by Apple because any budget phone or somewhat of a budget phone can still cement up to 5X and it’s been there since 2017 and it’s still present on the mini phone which is pretty trashy 6 years later going into 7 years in 2024 and we still have 5X zoom that is unacceptable apple do better
