The thing is A14 runs on 5nm node while SD865 runs on 7nm. Difference is not noticeable as A14 with 5nm node is underutilized by running on unoptimized apps. The difference can be seen after 3-4 years as, SD processors have a tendency to outdate early as compared to Apple ones. To consistently provide performance over years, apple processors do give a greater lifespan to the device as compared to SD ones.
