People saying iPhone 60hz is smooth are just jokers. It may look like that on KZbin but in real life even I who use a 90hz phone immediately noticed the jitteriness of a 60hz screen on iphones
@FireFoxDestroyerАй бұрын
Most people care about the function of their phone rather than the looks. The tradeoff with iPhones is that you get years of software updates and more power than Android counterparts. But, Android is catching up here and will eventually surpass iPhones in these departments. That’s why Apple is reportedly going with 120hz on base iPhones next year.

It is smooth bro, I've used a 60hz on a friend of mine and even tho I could immediately see the difference. It wasn't unusable , it just felt quite slow in my hand , still very smooth experience tho

Generally, it is smooth? What are you talking about? 60hz on an iphone 12 and up is smooth, no stutters and lag.

The S20+ got me through the pandemic. Even if it's my least favorite Galaxy design wise, I still consider it a great experience overall. Funny thing is, I even started carrying an iPhone 12 mini around that time too, I think a year later just to give things a try. I liked the S20 more, even if the 12 made my social currency go up a bit in that era.
@joshuasimmons9679Ай бұрын
These older phone reviews prove that nowadays phones that are several generations old can still perform well and provide a good user experience. While the S24 and the iPhone 16 have improved in a few ways, for the average user you really aren’t missing out on a whole lot if you are still using a phone from 2019/2020. I use an iPhone 12 and while I’ve considered getting the iPhone 15/16, I can’t justify dropping the money just for a notch less screen, slightly better cameras and the battery life alone. Maybe in another year I’ll get the iPhone 15 since it won’t be that much different than the 17.

s20 still looks fresh, like a new phone also, iphone has 2x the cpu score but the games and apps load much faster on android... snapdragon 865 was a great great great chip, can't stress it enough. gaming is done at fluid framerates and about 3watts, which means the phone NEVER gets hot cpu also is very very efficient, you can multitask on it no problem and does not get hot and yes, the screen with 120hz refresh, high res it's still up to par with newer phones and i would say a bit better because i like the curved edges, looks futuristic to me still. iphone looks like an old phone.

The reason the iphone 12 “aged well” is cuz all iphones are the same, especially the base models all apple do is incrementally upgrade the camera each iteration lmao

I disagree with that the iphone 12 has a better camera than the S20 because if you want your photos to look vibrant you won't have to edit as much on the s20 and you can still make your photos natural on the s20 by shooting raw and enabling HEIF and you can shoot in pro mode

Do you think that the Galaxy S21 series could handle 3 more years?
@Di_marswaggzАй бұрын
I'm using an S21 so honestly, it depends on if you're a light or heavy user (gaming) so which aspect If you're a light user then why not, I believe it could handle 3 more years As for gaming, over time, batteries disintegrate, it's actually quite evident even now and modern games require a lot, the snapdragon 888 problem is that it heats up a lot, taking this into consideration, This at times cause frame drop and lag in some areas but honestly I feel in like 1 and half or two years, get an S23 or s24 their prices would have dropped considerably and be within the budget range or you could even swap and just add a little bit of cash on it, you'd be getting a better device with better specs, so yeah it depends.
@Yoooo_ZАй бұрын
@Di_marswaggz im currently using an S21+, i have the exynos 2100 version, and still have good performance, compared with my LG V60 (SD 865) is a remarcable improve in performance, Im not a heavy user in my opinion, just 2 hours gaming per day, codm and geometry dash. But maybe i could go to college and idk if i could buy a newer device. The career last 3 yrs but maybe i can save some money.
@Di_marswaggzАй бұрын
@Yoooo_Z I honestly prefer the Snapdragon over the exynos because 1. It's more optimized for gaming 2. Records higher benchmarks 3. Noticeable improvement when being compared to exynos In 3 years now will be December 2027 typically 2028 So samsung will be wanting to release S28 series For example, see the S8,S9 they're both 6/7 yrs old but can't handle modern technology The S21 is 4 years old but in my opinion it could handle at most 2 years and that's it .
@monkeyglory2905Ай бұрын
it can, no matter the variant
@Yoooo_ZАй бұрын
@@Di_marswaggzi actually tested an sd 888+ with moto g200 and it sucks, i played Geometry Dash on it, i tried a not too demanding level and in 10 minutes i left the phone because was too hot and laggy, and in this exynos that doesn't happen. And runs same. And in codm runs smooth 90 frames, but yeah, i would change to a newer device with Snapdragon chipset, but for now im good with this exynos.

looks like on geekbench single core test, on IOS they use the prime core, on Android they use the lowest rated core for the test, thats why IOS phones scores higher, but in opennings apps test the android always wins, Geekbench was made to bring more scores to Apple devices.
