My note 20 ultra 5g 512gb is set to 60....as I can't easily tell the difference and I prefer the battery.....my tab s7 plus 512 gb IS set to 120 as that one it is much easier to see and it pains me when swapping between them. Gets less annoying if I leave the setting but....ill take 120 on the tablet

*Yeah removing the lightning port really doesn’t sound like a good idea.* 1. MagSafe is much less efficient charging, while the 20w charger wired is a lot faster. 2. MagSafe gets hot sometimes when using 3. MagSafe doesn’t provide data transfer, *Example : iPhone is in a boot loop and you have to restore your device using iTunes/Finder* (If they somehow put a magnetic connector on the bottom if the iPhone that is very similar to the Mac book’s that had MagSafe with data transfer then I would accept that.

Mag safe can be whatever you (apple in this case) wants it to be..... all it entails is metal pins on the outside of the body instead of inside a port, and magnets instead of frction or clips to hold in place, put springs on the pins in the cable so they can maintain contact over years as the metal wears from use and it can be identical on use to lightning, or have the USB c pinout to do that. It can be anything they choose to make it (granted cost and space can make it undesirable)

My guess is that the notch thing is just because Apple has either not been able to get a smaller FaceID array to work reliably, or that they are prioritizing an under screen FaceID implementation rather than a smaller one

Actually it does. I have a BMW from 2017 an it uses Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. No cable involved. I just know that I check that my Wi-Fi, BT and cellular is on before I open the car, than it pairs instantly. Love it. I don’t have any reference, no other car in my family has CarPlay. Just Bluetooth pairing for calls and music.

But do you get anything more out of a faster one if you aren't using the power now? Specifically for me, I don't care now to upgrade my note 20 or tab s7, until the soc can run ps2 games full speed, or when the battery takes a dip....which is the reason my note 9 is with a family member instead of me now....a little over 2 years of service and serious daily use kinda kicked its battery down a peg. Skipping battery soc improvements mean little, as my uses (and this is specific to me, ymmv) do not require anything short of that leap....and it is a while away.

I could not wait for apple so I just got a one plus 7 pro 8 ram 256 gig for 445 and it is so speedy. For a quarter of the price. 90 hrz screen as well.

@@TXCAMSS1 I just couldn't do the notch as I missed the fingerprint scanner. I switched after 2 years with my xs max. I still have it as a back up but the no notch is too clean and at the same cost as a iphone se 2 after tax. I'll take the switch of operating systems because it supports Ldac and had a bigger battery. This is my first time experiencing oxygen os and its stock which I like.

@@TXCAMSS1 all those face id apps I just set up my fingerprint instead. Luckily I set up my passwords and everything on both operating systems just in case I ever need to just one or the other for a year two. But coming back to android I forgot how nice the experience can be as well.
