I bought the 13 mini a week ago. It is an amazing phone and the size is just so good. It’s like a tiny firecracker, so much power. It’s a shame Apple is discontinuing this size. My battery lasts me a day and a half with average use. I am personally amazed with the battery life.

Both me and my girlfriend have the Iphone 13 mini, and we just love it. It's small enough to fit in your pocket, and for us it's the perfect size. My guess is that we will hold on to it for a long time, if Apple discontinuing the size. If i want a bigger screen, i go for my Ipad :) We don't use a case or anything, just because we love the look and style of the phone, and don't wanna hide it with a case :) Thanks for another great video, will look forward for the one... So easy jut to go on youtube, find your latest video and you are updated with all the new stuff from Apple.... Keep up the good work :)

My SE 3 arrived on April 19th. I’ve use it naked since. But I’ve ordered a clear case to use in public and remove when at home. I hate cases I never used anything on my previous iPhone 7.

the mini size is not my preferred size but it would still be extremely sad to see it going. It's just incredible how much power Apple can push into such a small form factor. Something you not even can dream about on the Android side. And I think the bad sale numbers mainly only come from people judging the battery life completely wrong by comparing it to Smartphones that are literally twice the size and have more than twice the battery capacity and then complain about it being bad. For 95% of people that consider this phone, the battery life is more than enough. Even the 12 mini was about on par or BETTER than all 4.7" iPhones and for example the iPhone X. And people never had issues with those... And the 13 mini is way better and even beats many Android phones with 4000+ mAh.

The SE is all about the older generation form factor and especially the form factor that is really popular. The SE was NEVER about the size. So there's almost no way that the mini will become the new SE. Apple just should keep the mini series and maybe refresh it like every 2 years. That would be completely fine. Killing it completely is just sad and imo a bad move.

the first gen SE used “the old form factor” of the 5S, the 2nd and 3rd gen SE used “the old form factor” of the 8, so I wouldn’t completely rule out a later SE using “the old form factor” of the 13 (when it becomes old)

After owning an iPhone 6s for 6 years, I was gonna go for the 13 mini. However, I went for 13 Pro. While I love the 13 Pro, I still wonder if a light weight 13 mini would have been better. Performance would have been still significant coming from a 6s. Maybe the battery would have not lasted years. 13 Pro lasts me 3 days on a single charge with 2 hrs of SOT per day. I guess I will never know what a 13 mini upgrade would have been like.

I plan on getting the 13 mini very soon, I will put a case on it immediately, all my Apple gear have one sort of protection on them, Im super careful of my tech so don’t usually put on screen protectors, but this time I think I’m going to try one, also it’s rumoured the mini will be discontinued so I’m considering buying a second 13 mini just before the 14 announcement, in order to have the mini as my main phone for the next 10 years, so my daily tech use will be 13 mini for calls, texts/messages email & taking photos & videos, iPad mini 6 for email/messages, KZbin & Netflix, web browsing, purchases, banking, calculator & language translation, iPad Pro 11 inch 2018 for photo & video editing, word & excel docs, general productivity, no more desktop or laptops for me.

Currently have Pixel 4a & plan on getting new iPhone. For me, the 11, 12 &13 reg size are a bit too big for my tastes. Need something pocketable that isn't a brick in my pocket. The SE 2022 is perfect size & price, but LCD screen & battery size that keep it cheaper are making me lean towards 13 mini. The mini is pocketable and if I need addl power, I could use a MagSafe battery.

I love my iphone 13 mini. It is comfortable to hold . The battery life is decent for normal usage . The only criticism is the quality of the paint .I can see the part of the paint has been peeled off near the lens . That has never happen with iphone 12 mini.

Just switched from an iPhone 12 to an iPhone 13 mini, I was thinking to buy the 14 mini but it will never come’s out so the 13 mini was the last change for me to catch this. @zollotech I actually gave up my 14 pro max for a 13 mini about 6 months ago and couldn’t be happier. I just couldn’t take carrying a 2 ton brick anymore…Don’t get me wrong i love the large screen and all the bells and whistles on my 14pro max but just couldn’t take it anymore. If i want a larger screen i use an ipad and as far as battery i use an apple MagSafe battery when needed but its not often. I really wish apple would change their mind on this size of iPhone and perhaps even a pro model. Anyways just wanted to give me two cents

For me the Iphone 13 mini is too nice to keep it un a bulky case, I use the Phone 13 mini Case with Pull-Tab von Lucrin. So the pohone is protected but I can easily pull it out and use it.

I had the SE 2020 and really thought about getting the iPhone thirteen mini - if I was 20 years younger I would but the iPhone 13 is just a little better with the eyesight as I can make the print a little bigger and still look good anyway be a great phone for somebody wants a one handed phone or a run or something like that

I’m using the 13 pro and use a case on mine. I don’t need the biggest size phone, but the mini was just a hair too small for my liking, when I wanted to upgrade from my SE 2nd generation. I have a couple Casetify cases and a clear plastic one I switch between, and like them. If I wasn’t so drop prone, I’d not be using a case. I don’t use a screen protector though. I do have AppleCare on it as well.

I love it And i was strongly hoping apple would bring iPhone mini 14 . I like it without any thing on it. I put it in my trouser’s pocket without feeling any discomfort. I wish apple make iPhone 14 with extra tech like laser pointing and measurement and room air quality measurements like o2 , LiDAR , microscope etc.

Just upgraded from the Mini to the Pro. I was sick of carrying a Laptop sized phone in my pocket, S21 Ultra, and was intrigued by the speed, size, and just needed a change from Android. The novelty of having a small device faded quickly. I never did get used to the typing experience. Watching videos for even a short period of time left you wanting more. Reading became tiresome quickly. I say all this and I am NOT a power user by any means. I am super happy with the Pro. If you have the money definitely grab the Pro or the Pro Max, the difference in price is minuscule in comparison to what you are gaining in the more expensive device. Just my opinion.

Problem with your idea, is while you gain more screen, you lose storage and gain about 25% more weight. For the price of your 128 GB Pro, I can pick up a 512 GB mini, and now that the 14 Pro has come out, the 512 GB mini is now a similar price to the 128 GB 14 Plus.

I have the 12 mini, the battery life kinda sucks. I was using the phone just calling people and within 3 hours the phone was on 10%. The more you use it, the more it eats the battery. I am thinking of getting the 13 in pink or 13 pro in alpine. Although I'm kinda hesistant to wait to see if the come out with the rumored purple in the pro for the 14. Edited: I just checked my battery health and it says 93% battery and I have had this phone a year. Is this normal @zollotech? Considering your brother has the same size and his is a 99% with constant use.

It's normal. Batteries between models can exhibit different health characteristics and you shouldn't worry too much about the battery health. 12 mini wasn't a battery champ, but the 13 mini has been.

Why is Apple always so obsessed with ONLY a better camera as an improvement for every new model? Just how much freakin’ detail do you need in your pictures anyway? They won’t be satisfied till every picture shows every deep pour in a person’s face to make them look like shit. I think the new “Max” series might sell way better than the current minis since now most of the people have become used to large phones. Moreover, Phones have become the primary Media Consumption devices for most of the people and they would probably prefer the Max model.

IMO, no. Have had such a phone and regretted my purchase every day. It was (1) too big to hold in one hand while walking, (3) would not fit in my jeans 👖 pocket either. Just a nuance.

It's unfortunate that Mini or compact phones are dying out because people prefer phablet sized phones mainly for media consumption as well as battery life. Battery life and screen size is something that compact phones really have a hard time keeping up with their bigger counterparts.

It's actually kinda not. Even the 12 mini battery life was on par or better than all iPhones with 4.7" and the iPhone X. And no one ever had a problem with those. It's juts thanks to some tech reviewer that complained about the battery life because they compared it to phones that are literally twice the size and battery capacity. Just like in the past people compared the 4.7" iPhones to like the Galaxy Note series instead of the iPhone Plus models and then the myth was created that iPhones have terrible battery life compared to Android... And especially with he 13 mini battery life is just not an issue anymore.

9:28 It’s actually the opposite. They use the telephoto when lighting conditions are good and switch to the wide when it gets darker because it has a lower aperture
