I also struggle with the same issue about the grip on the Apple silicone cases. It can change on a dime depending on the oils in our hands. Sometimes it’s a comfy grip. Sometimes it starts to slowly creep-slide down your hand. 😂

I have one, this thing does not budge anywhere. I have the black one but one thing keep in mind is that this thing is a fingerprint magnet if you have buttery hand like me. Don’t know if I’m keep or nothing but the fit will definitely check if Tee decides to review.

You need to check out that UAG Metropolis LT Kevlar case. Definitely in my top 5. Right up there with the Apple silicone case and Caudabe Sheath.

I tried the iPhone silicone case as a stop gap case as the Otterbox Defender Pro case was out of stock for my 13 Pro Max. The Apple silicone case would have been a better value if the display lip had 0.5 mm higher on the forehead and chin with 0.25 mm on sides, minimal shock absorption material in the rim and back of inside and a better camera lip. However, I did appreciate the fit but not the slick finish.

My two problems with apple silicone case is 1. It wears and breaks down unusually fast. 2. It is a massive LINT MAGNET.

Only reason I dont buy anything else beside these when it comes to silicone case. Tried every brand on Amazon and the buttons, bottom is just super loose. In and out the pocket and it already ripped. $50 but last me 8 months until I dropped it. Things about silicone is that it gets slippery overtime. When the coating is rubbed off, reveal the shiny silicone underneath and its kinda slippery if you have wet hands.

I promise you understand the color contrast combos. I keep telling people the abyss blue looks good with Sierra Blue IPhone. The Sky blue works with the 13 blue non pro. Anyways I’m here for the abyss review. I have the 13 pro graphite. 👍🏾

I like this case… however, its TGH!!! Also i dont like how theres a sliver of housing exposed on the front. Ive had the Apple Leather Case and the Silicone, both of which i have dropped and have managed to somehow knick that housing!! Happened on my 12pro Max and 13 Pro smh… so now I prefer a case that completely covers my phone only expoing ports. I wish they would make Silicone MagSafe Wallet… its too hard getting your cards out of the leather wallet and it only holds 2 cards. I pay to play when it comes to Apple, however there are better and cheaper options out there

Good review but in reality the Apple case is the best - the only once that comes close to the care and precision put in the phone itself. 15 dollars difference - do you realize I paid $2,000 for the iPhone 13 Pro 1TB version? It's a crazy price to pay for a phone... the 15 bucks extra to have the best case don't make a difference. I think this is more an issue with other case makers than with Apple - why can't they get the precise button fit? Why is that not-cheap cadphase mute button cutout not centered?

Apple is in business to make a profit, so it isn’t hard to imagine they’d charge much more than necessary for anything. Consumers deserve the freedom of choice to find the product that’s best for them. For many, price is a factor. For you, it isn’t. Look at it like car insurance, not everyone needs the same in order to drive.

If one case was 1000 and the other 10, OK - but if one is 35, and the other is 50 bucks... overall I am just a little disappointed other case makers can't make perfect cases, there's too much carelessness there. They're lacking this high level of care that Apple has in their DNA (and to this day they haven't lost, even though in many areas they have started to go down dark paths, example privacy and freeom, it's at an all time low at Apple - but product design, they still got it)

Last year you said you prefer the synthesis over the sheath hey I understand how you change your mind I’m a woman and I can never make up my mind. Apple leather is a better case then the silicone. Apple silicone starts to rub off and it’s looks awful after about 6 months. If you have hot oily hands forget the silicone. I will give you say a month and you will be back to the max guaranteed you can’t beat the battery I love my 12 pro max I won’t be buying another iPhone maybe when they finally decide to perfect the flip

I tend to be the odd person who doesn't mind a little bulk in a case, so I tend to favor the Otterbox Defender Pro myself. I tend to view protection over fashion as it were in a a case. This silicone case seems to be at the other end of the spectrum - they look great and are magsafe compatible, but offer very little protection

The silicone cases seem to have a mind of their own. Its super slippery in my hand, but it gets stuck in my pockets. The only apple case to get IMO is the Apple leather. But now at $60 they are really starting price themselves out.

I purchased one of these and within a month the corners were peeling off which made it so the phone was not held in tightly and looked aweful. I contacted apple support and they a agreed to send me a replacement and it’s been 1 week and it’s starting again. I’ve never dropped the phone or the case. Poorly designed and made.
