If it wasn’t for that darn dynamic island I would not even consider upgrading, but that is really cool because notifications has always been the weak spot on iOS has improved always had a way to quickly toggle settings or see information. Giving up the SIM card slot is a huge negative though

@@thetechlibrarian well, for me it’s a cool feature but not nearly enough to consider a change. But if I did, since I live in Europe, I would still have the SIM card. At least for now.

I have had my 13 pro max 256GB in space grey about 6 months now. I got it from apple’s certified republished store couldn’t be happier with it. Battery life is my favourite thing about it. I don’t. Use my phone super heavily like some people do but I can get 2-3 days out of this things on a full charge. Even my previous iPhone which was as an iPhone 7 Plus was never very good with battery life and I found it especially problematic if I was using my AirPods but that’s not an issue with my 13 pro max.

When I get the iPhone 14 pro max Im giving my mum my iPhone 13 pro max, has an iPhone XS Max she is really looking forward to update has the battery isn’t great

I enjoy mine, but one thing is the display on mine is iffy, it has accidental touches and sometimes doesn’t respond to all taps, but other then that it’s all good.

I always get triggered when reviewers falsely say “iPhone has 120hz display”. So misleading. It doesn’t. It’s a variable display. And that’s the main reason why “iPhones were so late with 120hz”. Because it’s not 120hz like the galaxy s8 unnecessarily burning through the battery. And then regular people who don’t know much reiterate “clever” words and terms.. spreading misinformation and reinforcing the confirmation bias

But when you use the phone, it is normally at a high refresh rate, so 99 percent of the time you’re going to be getting a buttery display, and that 1 percent of the time when it isn’t, you won’t even notice it
