Just upgraded my iphone 6s to 13 pro. Its great. But, i keep wondering if i took the right decision to buy 13 pro instead 14 pro. Because actually in my country, the price of 14 pro is a bit cheaper than 13 pro. I got the 13 pro because some review tells that overall its better than 14 pro. And at first looking at the 14 pro, i don’t really like the dynamic island. But now, i feel like i regret it. Its a very great feature. And one thing i also like from 14 pro is that it has autofocus on the front camera which 13 pro doesn’t have. Thats why i still keep thinking wether i should just exchange my 13 pro to 14 pro or not 😅 can anyone give an advice?

The entire 13 series was one of the best sets of phones that Apple released. From stability to cameras to battery life, all the phones were some of the best performers in their segments. I think the 13 Pro is still relevant, and anyone who gets it will be very happy for several years.

Well said! Especially the 13 mini. Kind of went down in quality with the 14 series including the new plus model. The only reason I’m sticking with the 14 is because I needed more storage but I’m thinking of switching back to the 13 mini because that line up is pretty good like you said. Thanks for watching !

Coming from xs max i was torn between 13 pmx and 14 pmx, found a good deal on 13 pmx second hand and couldnt be happier. The things i like the most are 120 hz, battery life and 5g speeds, this phone is amazing

the iphone pro is already not very big,downgrading to 60hz also is absolutely not worth it

If money is no issue, I’d rather go for the 14 pro since it has the dynamic island and better cameras. But I’d go for the 13 pro over the regular 14, that’s for sure

Yeah that regular 14 is probably the worst value iPhone in recent years. And yeah totally agree, the island and cameras are nice to have. If they were the same price def the 14 pro is the better value. But a used 13 Pro is an amazing value.

@@matteosimonutti In Czech republic 13 Pro was originally 30k CZK, you can easily filnd used one, still in warranty for 18-22k CZK which is less than iPhone 14. That price is normal from what I saw. iPhone Pro, year old model drops by 1/3 of its original price instantly when new model comes into play. Still holds its value better than Samsung. S22 started at 22k CZK and now, year old model, you can buy used at half price, but with all Samsung deals and trade ins, you was able to buy new S22 in january for 16k CZK

If like me you prioritise storage over a 48mp camera then the 13 pro is the way to go. With file/software updates increasing in size. Long term 128gb isn’t going to cut it anymore. Especially if you really want to take advantage of the pro raw features which lets be honest if your going to go for the pro models u should be taking advantage of that. But I know a lot of ppl who ignore it because it is storage hungry. Which I understand but it’s kind of sad to think u spend so much on a device and not really use any of the features that the device is made for. Me personally i went with the 13 pro 1tb for the cost of a 14 pro 128gb.

I have a 12 pro max I bought last yr off Amazon refurbished decent price at the time but I want a smaller phone with better features n the 13 doesn't have everything I desire neither the 12 mini because of my glucoma that not. Good choice either so I was undecided between the 13 p/ and 14 Pro after watching this video I can honestly say ima buy the 13 pro this video was straight to the point without all the benchmark an blah blah tech speaks that's really don't even matter very informative bro thank u

Yeah 64gb on a phone is pushing it very close. I even tried 128gb but it filled up quickly for me (with icloud). I also understand your worry about buying on the used market. Could be risky. A couple of tips: Check battery health and check if its black listed. If those things check out, you should be fine generally.

Couldn’t agree more. Hopefully they chance the display design with the 15 to give it a better look. It’s such a great value used especially if you want an amazing camera and 120hz. I’m a huge fan of the mini though so I put that up there as well as being a great value phone.

Hey! This is the first time I am hearing of this to be honest. What region are you in? I've never had that issue or know anyone with it. I wonder if that is a hardware issue with the devices shipped in your region. If it is a software issue, it seems like an easy fix.

Bought used iPhone 13 mini few wekks ago. I tried go for Android for while but missing iMessage and reliable camera. Still keeping Android phone for my working number. Just tomorrow ordered S23 Ultra, coming during next week. That huge phone will be great companion to tiny mini :)

did you get the ultra yet? I think the mini and ultra would make a great combo. I am inching closer to getting rid of the 14 pro and going back to the 13 mini. That is still my top phone choice of the last two years. And yeah, it is hard to fully leave iPhone due to things like AirDrop, Imessage and more. Oh and glad to see that you are still here! @@IdrisB Still waiting for my ultra. I don´t bought it but signed two year rent program and seller prioritize direct sales when stock is low. But I can wait few days, no rush :) Yeah, it will be big combo, small phone if I will need travel with small device and Ultra for days when I do not need lightweight baggage. Sadly Czech carriers does not offer eSIM in two devices, so I need remove it and add to another phone if I want change phone. I using personal and work phone number so physical SIM is for work number as I can pull it out and put to any phone in case when my phone have drained battery or I broke it. And sure, still subscribed and silently wathing your videos :)

​@@IdrisB i actually wanted an iphone from the main line up (not SE or XR) that is cheap. Saw that 11 is at an affordable price rn. So i figured if i wait a little longer the iphone 12 price will drop to what 11 is right now. Chose 12 over 13, well cus the 12 will be cheaper than the 13 earlier. And since the design change from 11 to 12 is quite big (12 has oled display, 11 has lcd. 12 has squarish aluminium frame, 11 does not). Also there is not much diference between 12 and 13 design wise imo to warrent going for iphone 13 so i will be going for 12. Mainly want to get a new iphone cus my last iphone was 6 (still working) and i have been rocking a samsung s10 for a while. Just curious to see how an apple phone is lately. (Not looking to speed a ton of $ too, just exploring)

I switched from 13 pro max to the 14 I only paid $100 for the upgrade. Instantly after updating to the latest firmware the 14 pro max just seems noticeably faster much better camera and the battery is saying I’m getting 3 hours more which I think is off but I definitely believe I’m getting at least an extra hour of battery life than my 13pm

I think the experience may be better on the Max versions of the phone. For me though, the 13 Pro battery was longer than the 14 pro battery. Even my 13 mini was comparable (obviously not as good). I'm actually surprised you notice the speed difference. Most say they have not, you are someone that pays attention to the details!

@@IdrisB thank you and yes I did a lot of research before deciding to upgrade and because it only cost me 100 bucks I did it. I’m a heavy gamer on my phone And I was shocked because all of the yt reviewers said it wasn’t much better for anything really. True on the first firmware for 14 pro max it wasn’t good. Lots of bugs but as soon as I updated to the latest 16.3.1 I definitely saw what apple had intended. It has better lte 5g connectivity I was getting a lot of dropped calls with the 13 pm I have yet to get one with the 14pm. The battery is definitely seeing at least an extra hour of life. And the gaming experience seems just a bit smoother overall not worth spending $1100 to upgrade if you have the 13 pm but the 14 is a little better

I agree I loved my 13 pro max and planned on keeping it till the 15 but I got sweet deal on a trade in so I decided to get the 14 pro max 256gb I’ve had it for about a month I’ll say this as great as the 13pm was the 14pm takes everything great makes it a bit better the camera is definitely better especially With the new action mode and the 48mp raw blows me away the battery seems neck and neck imo which is fantastic the dynamic island looks better than the notch the aod is something that I’ve always wanted on iPhone and now that it’s available I think it’s the perfect phone
