I jumped from 7 plus to the 13. super impressed in terms of battery, camera is flawless especially at night and so is the selfie camera, love having lots of storage too. the screen is bigger, brighter. the only issue is the zoom. my 7plus had a great telephoto camera, but hey i’ve the ultra wide to compensate for it.

I’m impressed with the screen fluidity, battery life and the cameras. The macro camera works much better than I anticipated. For me the little extra thickness makes it easier to hold and it seems they rounded off the edges just a little so it doesn’t dig into your hand as much. It also doesn’t get scalding hot every time I use safari. I’m happier with this upgrade than the 12 or 11. (Yes I upgrade every year).

@@charliewright1009 yes, because not too much 120fps content on the phones currently (even games mostly locked with 60fps), the 10-120Hz LTPO display mostly running still on 60Hz, or even on 10-30Hz when you just reading the content on a website, or watching a video. That 10Hz save a tons of battery life, when you don't need to waste the energy to refresh the screen 120 times per sec.

Nice review. It makes sense that if someone is looking to buy a new iPhone, getting the iPhone 13 makes a lot more sense than the 12. Just by virtue of the increase in battery capacity and life is good enough an upgrade. The better camera just makes the extra you fork out more worth it. Performance wise, I can't really say it will benefit most of its users since not everyone is going to play some cutting edge games, or run some intensive software to realise the potential of the A15. As to upgrade from 12 to 13, I think it is generally not worth making an annual upgrade. While there are quality of life improvements with each new iteration, they are not a must have and normally not big enough to make the upgrade worthwhile. It probably makes more sense for those on iPhone 11 or older to make this jump.

I only got the 13 over the 12 cos I wanted the extra battery life, and my 12 started to be 1,5 years old so the battery was at 88% capacity. I upgraded to the 13 before the 14 came out because the trade in value for the 12 is higher before the 14 comes out, so based on iphone 11 prices I actually saved money not waiting for the 14 before buying the 13.

13 pro could be a good replacement. The camera hardware has significantly improved but u wouldnt notice much of it in daily life. Should you upgrade from an 11 or 12 series iPhone. Absolutely not. Your battery life will be about as same as an 11. The 12 batteries die an hour quicker. The screens on the regular 12 the brightness was actually capped at 580 nits it was not 650 at least on the one I had. The cameras are really not a big improvement at all. Thats why at the end should you upgrade he says “better display, better battery, better camera, faster chip and umm so much more”. Do not upgrade if your iphone 11 or 12 is fine skip this iphone. Its not even really a 13. I would call this line the 12S series, but theres not anything “new”. This is just an internal upgrade. No real new features,m. The headline for the iphone 13 should be “iphone 13 the iphone 12 you actually wanted”. Thats what it literally is. All the Iphone 12 issues they fixed. I switched to a 12 mini a month ago. I had no choice. But if I had the same option now & it would be $599 for a 128GB version from my carrier. So I am kinda salty about that. But my iPhone 12 mini performs way better than my iPhone 12 did and the screens brighter. Also I dont have overheating issues or battery drain with this phone like I did with the regular 12. 🤷🏼 This is just my opinion. Dont be offended by my comment I like apple alot, im just not impressed at all with the 13 series.

I am in love with my iPhone 13 Pro. The 120hz makes all the difference in the experience when using a phone. I have zero complaints except for the 5G...for some reason here in the downtown LA area my 5G is so slow...like really slow when loading web pages etc. It's not slow in every area here in the downtown area but the area's I frequent (coffee shops, work) it struggles to even load a page. I look in the settings but there seems to be no way to shut off 5G. My LTE coverage 4G was just fine and I wish I could toggle the 5G off. Anyone have any tips for doing so please reply. But other than that the iPhone 13 Pro has been a BEAST! Amazing battery life too, but then again it is a brand new phone so that could diminish over time. Cheers Max Tech

That tests are fake, he useing some trick to clickbait you, like double heating the phone (charging + playing before he start to do anything or something like this). Impossible to reach 45 degree with just 3.7W power consumption, if the others in the same game only reach 33 degree with 5W power consumption. Because the power consumption is that what heat your phone, so 3.7W can't generate more heat like 5W.

Little late here, assuming you got the 13 pro, I would definitely wait til at least the 15 to upgrade, apple products especially their phones and tablets generally last a very long time, upgrading every year just isn’t worth it
