there is a physical key in the fob to open the door. Then they popped the hood and jumped the car.

Question - Did the satellite and aaa automatically know your location? In the video they located you easily. Did you have to provide your location?

If you look closely at the display on the iPhone at 2 minutes into the video, you can see that it says "Location sent to AAA", so the GPS of the phone automatically sent his location to AAA.

I wonder who the satellite company is? T-mobile and SpaceX have partnered up to offer text, data and voice through SpaceX when you're not within a groud cell tower. Amazing.

I have the iPhone 14pro, but the satellite does not show up at top of messages. Does it do this automatically when your out of cell phone range?

If I have an iPhone 13 mini I guess I can’t use this feature? I have AAA coverage so I’ll just call them the old school method 🧐

This feature is with iPhone 14 models and iPhone 15 models because they have the satellite connection feature. The 13 lineup does not.

AAA has an iPhone app. You can transfer your membership card to your Apple Wallet, so your membership card is always on your phone just like a credit card. Also, if you haven't installed the app or membership card in your Apple wallet, and you have locked your wallet in your car, AAA will still come out and get your number from you once the technician opens your car for you. If you still cannot find your membership card, they will charge for the service call.

When she asked me to bend down and touch the ground, or at least as far as I can go. I laughed and locked eyes with her. Pretended to struggle at the knees. But continued all the way to the ground. True. I rediscovered your content recently. I have noticed you are often the first KZbinr to break new Apple news quite often but unfortunately dont get the recognition. I guess that apple craze doesn't exist as it used to. I've been around enough to know you were pretty big during the Apple Byte days when KZbin was new.
