I agree with you that this phone value will get better as newer phones are released. Spending $100 more gives you an extra core of GPU, 50% more RAM, crash detection and action mode (compared to the 13).

I usually buy all my phones either ultra or the pro max models but I opted for this because that all they had available at the time at my retailer. But I kinda like the form factor of the 14. It’s not too small and not too big and it fits in my hand like a glove. The battery on this phone is amazing. I find myself not having to charge that much and the fast charging charges at a decent speed.

I am still using my iPhone X (I’ve had it for 5 years) and I am about to upgrade. I mostly use my phone for talking, texting, taking pictures & videos of my grandkids, watching KZbin videos, listening to podcasts & audiobooks. I’m not a gamer or a professional photographer, although i do appreciate high quality pictures. Money is an issue, so I’m trying not to break the bank. I should also mention that I’m a little rough on my phone. I drop it often, but the case I’ve had on my current one has fully protected it and my original screen is still completely intact (no scratches or cracks at all) and no damage to my phone. Which iPhone and case would be best right now for someone like me?

I’m thinking about getting a iPhone 14 Plus or maybe a standard 13 and I’ve only have my iPhone 11 for almost 2 years, but I’ve always wanted a pro iPhone. I’m stuck on if I want to keep my 11 a little longer or maybe get a 14 Plus cause it is the closet to the size of the 11.

Hi nick. I had bought the iPhone 14 last month . When I saw your video, I noticed that when u were scrolling through your phone it was staying consistent at 61% for about 11-12 min. In my phone, the battery drops down after every 4-5 minutes of use. Do you think it is normal ? Or is it something that I should be concerned about ? Or should I take my phone back and get it checked ??

If there’s an issue with your battery, it wouldn’t hold a charge at all, would overheat and would lose something like 10-15% just scrolling on social media instead of 4-5. I have the 14 Pro and use it all day at work listening to KZbin in the background. I come back home 9 hours later and I’m at 30%. On days where I’m busy at work I’ve come back home at 50-60%

It’s all in the setting Bro. And of course how you use the phone. I can go two days without needing to charge my 14 Pro. Then there are days where it dies in a couple of hours 😂

I would go with a 14 pro or 13. Skip the 14, 14 plus and 14 pro max. The 13 and 14 pro are a better bang for your buck in my opinion.

I feel like most regular users don't upgrade every year or 2 and when they do they will always get the newest model. Especially if it comes to storage not sure if apple still does this but they cap the storage on the last years model so anyone wanting more than 128gb they'll have to get the newer model.

the apple A15 on the iphone 14 and plus have the same chip that was shipped on the iphone 13 Pro Max. the chip on the iphone 13 pro max has some more cpu and gpu cores compared to the regular iphone 13 I think. maybe just more gpu cores by 2 or something. but yea. that's why iphone 14 performs ever so slightly better than the iphone 13.

iOS 17 is supposed to add split screen multitasking and allow for more customization on home screen, already sounds like it will be a huge upgrade can’t wait! That said, 16.4 RC and now final public version are by far the best iOS 16 variants I have used for my 13 Pro. 16.3.3 (I think was most recent?) was solid but 16.4 feels so much better
