I got the 14 plus last week and I love it! I am a semi professional photographer and the iPhone has been my camera of choice (including Nikon and Sony cameras) for the last few years. The 14 plus with a slightly larger screen is great, and I have really found no negatives. A good review here.

After not caring about battery life and phones over the years(I didn’t mind plugging in my phone every couple hrs to charge) on my last phone. I realized that I just got accustomed to the repeatedly plugging it in. The constant plugging started to take its toll on me. To me they all behave the same way and iPhones screen look alike. Went with the bigger battery on the 14 plus and like everyone say. It really really last a long time. No regrets here and I don’t need all the pro features

I absolutely adore this phone! Ive had the 12 mini for a little over a year and a half and the battery health was at 81%. My phone wouldnt even last me a school day which is 8:35-3:35. It was laggy, the battery sucked, and the screen was too small imo. Im a girl and i have bigger hands so i love bigger screens. That being said, i wanted one of the 14 series and i was stuck between the 14 pro max, 13 pro max, and 14 plus. In the end, i chose the 14 plus. I didnt care for all the extra pro features and gimmicks. My 14 plus has everything i want and need in a phone: bigger screen for cheaper price, BEST battery life (used my phone from 6:30 am all the way to 9pm and my phone wasnt even below 20%. Havent had to charge it once. My 12 mini could never!!) and a great camera! The 14 plus is a great phone with great features AND colors (i got purple and it’s beautiful) and i think if you dont want/need all the extra weight (cuz this 14 plus is SUPER LIGHT!!) and the extra features and gimmicks of the pro phones and you want a GREAT FREAKING BATTERY, get the 14 plus!!!!! 10/10!!!!

Im so glad you did. I had many issues with mine…. ​​The pro model has the same battery as the 14 plus. Backstory: Had to change the 13 pro max TWICE. first it was a software issue. Had the sierra blue. THEN got the alpine green and the back broke WITHOUT ME DROPPING IT! Mind you; I dropped my iPhone 11 so many times and nothing happened. Till this day the best phone I ever had. And it exceeds my expectation on every level. Rn coming from the 13 pro max I’ll definitely opt for a normal glass but the same battery. So 14 plus it is.

@@ethanslegend8094 really the only difference is that the 13 pro has a smaller screen size (6.1 compared to 6.7). If you want a bigger phone but don’t want to spend a lot of money get 13 pro max. Same processor but 13 max has a slight better camera if you’re into that.

Coming from a 12 Mini and just upgraded to the 14 Plus. I like the small size of the Mini but the battery life over the past couple years has been an issue. I do quite a bit of video streaming on my phone as well so I think I will enjoy the larger screen long term even with the slight inconvenience of not fitting in my pocket as easily.

The 12 is 164 grams vs 206 grams on the 14 plus. Big difference. But for as big of a phone in the 14 plus it's not too bad, definitely the lightest out of all Apple's max phones.

I got the 14 pro max and returned it since it is so heavy, got the 14 pro and the battery doesn't last long enough for a full day at work and dies before I can go grab a coffee and go to the library. So I settled with the 14 plus in product RED and I LOVE it! Yes it is pretty big, but then again you mostly use two hands to use your phone when you get real into anything. I was not able to notice a difference in photos unless using the RAW format with the full 48 megapixels which was nominally better at best. Maybe on my 5k monitor blown up it is a little better but not that much. 14 plus if you want the lightest iphone and also the biggest screen with the LONGEST battery life possible. No more portable phone chargers ever!

I just got an I phone 14 plus. I am blown away in comparison to the 11 I had. Funny enough I also have an 12 mini too. So I have had my share in the I phone world. I was impressed with the 11 for a while. And since I only do big screened phones, I tend to look at the pro maxes but I don’t like the price tag. But when I grabbed the I phone 14 plus from Verizon, I had no idea what a better experience I was gonna get. I would say far as camera concerned, I don’t really care much for it, as long as it takes great pictures, I don’t need the upgrade on the camera spectrum. However battery, and screen display matters a lot and of course performance and durability. 11 of course was good with all. But this is a powerhouse, simply put I don’t need to spend an extra 200 for just small features I might not even use often, lol I barely even take selfies. personally, It’s all how you plan using the phone but I won’t be getting an upgrade for a while. ☺️

Considering the cameras on the iPhone 14 Plus and iPhone 14 Pro Max are so close in quality, the only real difference for me is the high refresh screen on the Pro Max. But is it worth $200? Not sure …

@@owenclarke7886 when the 14 came out on ATT web sight had a trade in policy. You just picked the phone you wanted to trade in the 10 and the 8 plus were both 350$ so that’s why i jumped on it. It actually gives you a certain amount off your Att bill until the 350$ is gone. I think over a 2 year period. When I got the 8 plus all I had to pay was tax 80$. My daughter bought a iPhone 10 so she could give a 8 plus to me but I had to not be on att. I had been on Verizon so it worked. Apple was not offering 350 for an 8 plus. I think 90$. But this was on ATT.

Nice overview, Patrick. The current preorder stats don’t support a popular plus future. However, I’ve been on the fence since the September event. Why? Weight! My iPhone 11 6.1” and the new 14 plus are virtually equivalent in weight. The weight difference between a 14 pro max and plus is about six pieces of 8 1/2 x 11 standard copy paper. It’s substantial.

I probably wouldve gotten the 14 plus instead of the pro if they would’ve released it on the same day as the others! But i didn’t have time to wait since i was doing a port in from AT&T. I didn’t want to pay them for another month of service.

For starters, the I phone 14 plus has the same battery as the pro max but less battery drain due to the display it uses, and thus a longer battery life. This is a huge selling point. -I phone 14 plus has a front facing autofocus lens which the 13 pro max does not -I phone 14 plus has SOS emergency services and the 13 pro max does not -I phone 14 plus is lighter which a lot of consumers prioritize. -Most people will not use the 48 mp camera lens from the 14 pro max or the Prores due to the file sizes and storage. Also it’s a nightmare to transfer these large files from the phone if you have a windows pc. I’d rather use a dedicated professional camera for professional work. (At least the workflow would be optimized) -I personally would not use the always on display on the 14 pro max due to battery drain. -Maybe the dynamic island would be useful, but it’s a nice to have, not a need to have. All of this to say that there is a phone for everyone’s needs. When it comes down to the day to day essentials, the 14 plus might be a more enticing option 👍🏾.

Selling a 60hz screen at $900 in late 2022 is daylight Robbery The 13 pro max is a lot more efficient than a plus due to its 10hz display Also, i was mostly comparing the 14 plus with the 13 pro max (not the 14 pro max ) Which sells for cheaper I agree that the AOD on iphone 14 pro is utter garbage The SOS is a feature that is very very situational and only works in US and only for 2 years A better to have than not feature but hardly an advantage feature All in all the 13 pro max is far far better than the 14 plus which shouldn't exist at that price point $700 maybe If someone can get an Almost new 13 pro max for near $900 He's a fool if he picks a 14 plus That's the truth And I have not even began talking about the insane value options on android for $900 Even $500 phones on android feel faster and snoother than a 14 plus due to the HRR screens Apple has Ripped their consumers dry last year and esp this year That's what they get for blindly supporting a corporation no matter what it does Sent from my XR ( Not an iphone hater )

@@Phoenix-King-ozai I certainly agree with you. The price should definitely come down on the plus or at least put 90hz refresh rate. It would be a banger if they did. It’s a nice large phone option without stepping up to the pro. Variety is good. As a side note, I also forgot a big difference between the 13 pro max and the plus: 4K front facing camera in cinematic mode with the 14 plus. That could equal out the playing field a bit when you consider the 14 plus doesn’t have the telephoto lens.

I upgrade my daughter's Iphone every year. Traded the 13 for the 14 PLUS yesterday. Let me tell you guys... Looking at the whole Iphone 14 line up on display at Apple Garden City, NY... Get the new Airpods Pro or the Watch SE with that extra $200 and change. A much better investment. 🤳👨‍🚀🚀

My mum got her first ever new iPhone 14 on the 16th Friday of September and she loves it and I wanted to upgrade my iPhone to iPhone 14 but I have to wait until the iPhone 16 comes out so I can get the iPhone 14 or iPhone 15 currently using a iPhone 12 mini and I love it and I will miss the mini iPhone 🫠😱😱 been watching this KZbin channel since iPhone 11

iPhone 14 pro max: Dynamic island iPhone 14 plus: Non dynamic peninsula The 14 plus is still a good choice, A16 bionic isn't a big upgrade from A15, considering that in the presentation Apple tought we wouldn't notice that they compared the A16 to a 3 year older processor. The only big difference is the notch, which i wouldn't really mind. I am also kinda excited for what Samsung has to show next February, and then we will see which company just goes downhill every year.

That was a good review I think people should compare newer iPhone models from 2 years or more older models Because only tech enthusiast people buy newer iPhone every year But most people upgrade every 2-3 year so like you said any one upgrading from iPhone 8 Plus or even 11 pro max will really like this phone ..
