Today is a very interesting fight between one of the most expensive phone, the iPhone 14 Pro vs one of the most affordable or the cheapest smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S21 Fan Edition. This might seems an odd pairing but this actually makes a lot of sense. iPhone 14 Pro was just released with triple camera setup, all with upgraded sensors for better low light. While S21 Fan Edition has great triple camera setup too that were inherited from the older S21.
Is iPhone 14 Pro really better? Is it really a low light champ? Is Samsung Galaxy S21 FE lives to the expectation? And from an imaging perspective, can Apple justify the price twice as expensive as Galaxy S21 FE? There are so many questions today, lets begin.

Hahaha great stuff! I went to a local store a few days ago and picked up the S21 FE and compared the video with iphone 14 pro too !!! The difference i saw was that some things were oversharpened in S21 FE while the iphone video looked more natural

Yeah, actually if you pixel peep, Apple video is "softer/natural" looking. It also save files in .MOV which is good for video editing because it wont compress the video that much. This Wednesday, I shoot my collaboration video using iPhone 14 Pro (most of it). But hey, that's a great value phone you have there! Enjoy your S21 FE! ❤️🤜🤛

Indeed, the Galaxy FE and A can certainly film in 4k, but their stabilization is poor in 4k. I prefer to go on an S21 Ultra 2nd hand in good condition.

these "cinematic" video on new phones is becoming such an expensive gimmick, they look very tacky if not ugly, like portrait mode on cheap android phones. it's unbearable to look at. the gradual transition to bokeh on main camera is so much better, i don't know why they keep peddling this gimmick.

The selfie is more natural looking on Pixel 6a while S21 FE has a bit of editing.. that's personal preference.
