the screen protector i use often needs a firm tap to register my finger, especially when its cold and dry outside. This introduces quite a bit of camera shake, which for some apps is just a nightmare even just for focusing and exposure (nightcap omG and sometimes even native camera app). I’ve had great success plugging in a wireless mouse with a dongle (a la logitech mice), enabling the AssistiveTouch cursor, and controlling the phone with the mouse cursor. This hands-off approach means there is zero camera shake during tap-to-focus/expose, and also when pressing the shutter to start the capture (no timer required!). A bit of an overkill solution perhaps, but it’s produced some good results even with my less-than-rock-solid tripod setup. I’ll definitely need to give Even Longer a try. Having focus control using incremental buttons seems like a godsend, especially compared to the circular jogwheel sliders that many apps like to use. Also, the RAW format for light trails and long exposure piqued my interest. Cheers!

But i think i have problem, after I used the application to take photos of star trails for 1 hour. The photo was not saved in my phone's galery, so I only used the screenshot that I captured previously. I'm very confused, does a photo taken for 1 hour take a long time to save in the galery?

Hi, I am a new Pro member user of the evenlonger app. I just tried a 1 hour raw exposure of star trails this night. I came back to my phone 1,5 hrs later, but unfortunately the raw image was not saved to my phone. I dont know what happened. I just did some tests with shorter exposures (10sek, 1 min, 10 mins..). The pictures are just automatically saved after the given time is up. Mine just did not save the foto after 1 hr!! It somehow got stuck. But I could see the preview on the screen when I came back. It apparently didnt save anything. This is a shame.. what do you think went wrong?? I am using an iphone 15 max pro. Thanks.

Have a look in your files app mate. I suspect you will find and even longer folder in there. Sometimes 3rd party camera apps will do this.

Been interested in this app. I suspect my camera may be faulty however. 15 pro, when in the native night mode, 1x or .5, i see like black haze vignette all around to top half of my screen (and in photo). Anyone else get this with a 15 pro?

No, this can be achieved on Samsung by using an intervalometer and manually creating the trails in photoshop.

Hello. As a follower of you I bought the app that costs OK. However I have not told by you that in order to get RAW I must have monthly/yearly subscription!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If I knew that in advance I won’t even bother to buy it from the start. So next time you recommend an app please also add to your video the monthly pricing. The one time price is meaningless. The real price is the subscription which I will never do and so many others. I prefer to pay more once then do a subscription to endless apps that steal your money !!!!!
