Battery cycle mentioned is correct full charge full discharge yet even if you are not fully charging it after fully discharging it you will or you are in charging to or discharging to any percentage you will still loose a battery cycle. ⁠go for the pro if you have the budget. It’s an upgrade to the 15 in every way. The durability issues are overblown. Its present mostly in pro max which cracked under bend test from jerry rig, but the regular pro survived. There is a video by gupta technology in which even the pro max didn’t break on bending. Heating issues maybe prevalent while heavy use, but apple is usually quick to fix them via software update. I would suggest waiting for 1 or 2 months and checking whether the issues have been resolved if you are worried.
