iPhone 15 Pro Max HONEST Long Term Review - Is It Worth Buying In 2024?

This has been my experience with the iPhone 15 Pro Max since day one while using it as my main phone for normal use and create content. IOS 18 has been running great BTW. It's the most stable Beta 1 I've tested so far.

Thank you! I agree, I had also the S24U and completely switched for a bit and even though that phone has a couple of awesome features the iPhone doesn't have, I still preferred the iPhone experience. Both great phones. Will do.🫡

I upgraded from my iPhone 11 Pro Max roughly seven months ago, and the USB-C alone makes it worth it. All the other upgrades are nice little bonuses. I must admit, the Dynamic Island is cooler than I expected; it's one of those features I actually use a lot. It's just too bad it doesn't have great support in third-party apps. Edit: I also wanted to add that the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max frames don't use as much titanium as you might think. They are made from an alloy that primarily uses aluminum, which is actually a downgrade compared to the previous stainless steel frame. The stainless steel was stronger, more scratch-resistant, and looked better. Apple cleverly marketed this change as an upgrade, and few people questioned it.

Hopefully we see more dynamic island support in the future for more 3rd party apps but yeah, USB-C is great! I can’t imagine not having it at this point. I’m still waiting for the AirPods Max Gen 2 😅 The iPhone 15 Pro Max, at least from my experience so far, has shown to be more durable. I used my 14 Pro case-less and I noticed more scratches on the frame. Wish I still had it to show a full year use comparison. I do agree on the look portion of it, the stainless steel frame looked classy.

Awesome video man! I went through a few of your videos and we share the same thoughts on the regular 15 Pro. I love the form factor, but wish I got the Pro Max as I’m finding myself getting 6-7 hrs. of OST, but having to charge at least twice a day. I use my phone for photography and videography and the battery anxiety is real (normally ~4 hours). I saw in your one video that you said you got 9 hours of OST with the regular Pro, but 8 hours with the Pro Max in this video…Is that accurate? What’s the OST difference in your experience between the two phones? Hoping the 16 Pro’s allegedly bigger size gives it better battery otherwise I’ll have to go to the Pro Max. Also, subscribed to your channel. Appreciate the hustle making these videos!

Honestly, I think it’s mostly because I’m putting more use into my iPhone for both personal use and to create content lately. Also, a good thing to point out is that during weekdays I barely use my phone for “Pro” uses since I’m so busy with work but during the weekend my Screen Active time is much lower averaging 6 hrs with my Pro Max. It’s all depending on the day. I should’ve shown that better on the video. Thanks for pointing that out! And thanks for subscribing🫡

Thank you for replying and with an in depth reply! Yes, you’re like me in regards to workflow. I have an iPad Mini 6 as well, but that’s been my main content consumption device as of late 😅 If I can use only one device for workflow + content consumption, then the Pro Max would be the choice. Definitely considering it. But with September around the corner, and the rumors of the 6.3” Regular Pro being a thing, it’s hard to decide what to do! My only concern with the 16 lineup is seeing a bigger Pro with a bigger battery, but the new chip sucking that extra battery dry leaving us with the same battery span as the 15’s. Having said that. An Anker external battery for the regular Pro is just the same difference to get the 15 Pro Max, so I may just end up selling the Pro now…Decisions, decisions! One last question…Do you miss the 3x? I know that the Pro Max 5x is amazing, but I watched Noah Herman’s 15 Pro Max long term review and he mentioned how the 5x crops digitally a lot of the time. And how 2x-4.9x is digital vs. the optical 2x-3x on the Pro. Thanks again! Looking forward to your videos 🤘

Hey dennis! Greetings, from 13PM to 15PM is incremental upgrade and since 16PM is just a couple months away having some big upgrades in screen size , new display tech , big battery and probably better speakers its better to wait for 16😊

Hi Dennis! It’s a great upgrade coming from the 13PM, but do you value having the latest tech? The guys here are right but if you need it now and find a good deal for your phone, it may not be a bad idea. I personally would wait. But the 15PM will be great from here to many years to come.
