I currently use a 12 pro and you said in the video that your recommendation is to just hold onto this for now and wait for the 16… the price for a brand new unit as of June 2024 is now only around Php48k from reputable stores (beyond the box).. does your recommendation still stand or would you recommend getting one now that the price is a bit lower?

Hey man salamat sa panood ng review ☺️. In my honest opinion, this actually would depend if your 12 pro is not that good any more. there are some factors to consider such as - features - battery - software updates In terms of features, one major downgrade sa 15 is the 3rd lens, unless you get the 15 Pro, although the 48 MP camera performs great, having all 3 lenses to me is still much better. Software updates, not a big deal you still get to have at least 3 years worth on your 12 Pro. If you feel the overall performance of your phone is becoming slow, check the battery health as usually this is the culprit. If it is 85% and below, go to An Apple Service center and have it replaced, you'll see the performance will suddenly become faster, and it is a lot cheaper compared to buying a new iPhone, hope this helps ☺️

Honestly speaking, if you have the cash, skip the 14 and go for the 15, however, if what you're currently using is still fine like it still gets the job done, wait it out as the newer iPhones will be released by September (usually) which is just 6 months away.

I got a 15 for $795 yesterday. It was a major upgrade for me coming from an android Huawei device. Do you think I should’ve gotten the iPhone 13 instead? It was on sale for an even lower price than the 15. Like around $635. What do you think?

Honestly speaking no, some say that the 13 is just as good but i beg to differ, the performance on the 15 is still a lot better and is more assuring in terms of longevity. Of course, it still depends on your budget, but if you can shell out for a 15, then it is a good deal.

No. I would only recommend the 13 if you want a modern design iPhone for the cheapest possible price, if you can afford more than go for more since that gets you more longevity.

I upgraded from a base 11 to 15 as my daily driver about a month ago. This is a good phone it’s amazing camera , it usually lasts me a day unless I am just constantly on it consuming media. Its fast display is beautiful. I am keeping it for the next 3 years then I’m going to finally get a bigger phone.

Usually my take on this, especially if it is going to be my daily driver, if the upgrades of the present device fits my needs. It's easy to speculate if the 16 or 17 or even 18 would be better, but if my current device is busted and there are certain features i need, then this would be a good upgrade coming from an older device, but if i was using a 14 or 13, then I'd say not really.

Yep, but based on online sources, those are reserved for the pro variants which sucks, but for most consumers, so long as it does the intended purpose it's fine. 🙂
