I’ve been using the Plus as my work phone and it honestly does the job.. amazing battery life, very light to carry with you, fast and quick for all sorts of applications, and a solid OS. It’s a big win for me.

Me being a teacher I switched from a 13 pro max to the regular 16 just alone for the smaller size and weight don’t notice refresh rate it’s been amazing just having a smaller phone

I’m pretty sure they’re ditching the base models with 17. Or they will keep re-cycling previous models as long as they’ve repackaged and sold parts of all the previous unsold models. The chipset on base models is basically faulty Pro model chips that have some things disabled. But given iOS is so simpleminded, you’re not going to miss on anything.

I had the 14 Plus, sold that for the 15 Pro now I'm selling my 15 Pro for the 16 Plus it comes in tomorrow. I really miss the plus, I don't notice the 60Hz compared to 120Hz. Should apple have done that? Of course not, it should have at least 90Hz but iphones are so smooth there's no big difference so don't feel like you missed out. My 15 Pro still has 100% battery health but the battery life is still horrible the Plus has the best battery i've ever seen on a phone besides my S24 Ultra. It really lasted 2 days, before I needed to charge it. I wish I never sold my 14 Plus, for the 15 Pro.

I really would love to get this phone Playing and recording on pro maxes feels so laggy. It seems like screen recorder caps at 60hz which makes playing on native 120hz feel so jittery. I play better on my 8 plus than my 13 pro max while screen recording😭

I have a 14 Pro as my secondary device which I only use for Photography & Gaming cause of 120Hz. I bought the 16 Plus for daily casual usage. Both of my sim cards are in the 16 Plus. I just use the camera and 120Hz screen on my 14 Pro.

For casual users, 16 Plus is just fine. It has more RAM than the 14 Pro, bigger screen and has all these additional AI features. The only downside is the 60hz refresh rate.

Anyone here considering either 16 pro or pro max shud just get the pro max, if u want to save money get the 16 plus, im using d pro and even the 120 feels like 80hz compare to my other phones with 120hz, speakers is miles behind compare to the bigger 16 phones and everything including performance seems to be tune done to make the small battery last longer, plus you have to frequently plug it in leading to more charge circel which iphone 16s now make obvious in the battery settings, wat made me get the pro was becoz of 120hz, always on display, pro format cameras but all feels like a gimmick more especially on the smaller pro... After 6 months of use i will surely downgrade (upgrade actually) to the plus or upgrade to pro max... I regret buying the pro

Here in canada the 16plus for 128gb is 1,279$ and the 16 pro max 256gb 1,749$ .yup expensive .here in canada we have facebook on market place i bought a 16 pro max and it was fake i called at the apple customer service and they tell me it is a fake phone . 1,250 $ for that fake phone my husband called the police for this , we managed to caught his liscense plate and face on a camera . Will see what the police officer is going to do next about this . I Never buy again from market place .
