60hz screen at this price point + year 2024 is crazy. For people who still haven't moved on from 60hz display might not care about this, but for people who've been living with 90hz or higher screens, the difference in experience is very noticeable. Definitely a good deal if they would ditch the extra buttons for 120hz screen and maybe slightly faster charging speed.

I just got the 16 plus. Amazing battery life so far and the gaming performance is phenomenal. Have used 120hz androids before and didn’t care for it at all. I usually turned off the 120hz to save battery lol.

@@Elizabeth-jk4yj I’m getting like 15 hours of quite heavy use. Lots of social media, Spotify and KZbin, internet browsing throughout the day and I still have 20-30% left when I go to bed. Easily the best battery life I’ve ever experienced from a mobile phone by a long shot. I’d be able to use it for around 18 hours before it dies I reckon. As always though everyone gets completely different numbers.

@@LimReviews so far so good. Coming from 120hz definitely can feel the difference but it is not that bad for me. With the new striking color options, fast camera shutter, iOS18 with some AI promised in the next update, i think it is a good buy for a newcomer to ios like me. Of course in terms of feature it still lack of plenty features which my android already have. This i cannot deny.

I switched from the Pixel 8 to the iPhone 16. After 2 days I got used back to 60Hz and have no complaints. But I am not sure, if I should’ve gone with the Plus, thats why I watched this review. I can still return the 16 🤔

I believe refresh rate is important, especially for activities like heavy scrolling or moving items on the screen for extended periods. On desktop monitors, for example, the difference between 60Hz and 120Hz is noticeable during constant scrolling or mouse movements. However, I think the impact of refresh rate on phones isn't as significant. As a high refresh rate enthusiast with 240Hz and 120Hz monitors, I still use a 60Hz phone, and I don't find it bothersome or hard on my eyes. So, while 120Hz can be nice, I don't think it's essential for mobile devices.

I got the 16 plus coming from a 15 pro. The battery on this phone is NO JOKE 🔥. After 2-3 days you get used to 60hz from 120.

120hz matters in 2024. If you use a 120hz display and then use the 60hz, anyone can notice the difference.

​@@mashrafinayeem We mainly care about security, ecosystem and OS support, name any other brand that will brick/allow you to track a stolen device, name any other brand that takes time certifying repair shops and accessories, name any other brand that offers at least 7 years of OS support and 5 years of security updates (Google and Samsung ONLY introduced 7 years THIS YEAR, while Apple had it since the iPhone 6), other brands have caught up with the ecosystem like Honor only recently as well, while Samsung still a bit behind which is strange since you should be able use with their other products like washing machines, TVs but can't for some reason. People always look for things to complain about with Apple but once we get 120hz on default models, they will continue to look for more things to complain about, while their favourite android flagship devices can't even reach the top 10 best selling smartphones for the year, these people complain about Apple and praise other brands yet they never buy or support the brands they praise so much about lol.

Don't legitimate Apple marketing, saying that in 2024, 120hz and usb 2 are Pro features. Every youtuber wants to be invited to Apple events. Everybody has access to information in 2024. That's a big jump! I'd say if you have extra budget go straight for the Pro/Pro Max and use it for a couple more years. Apple Intelligence at the moment is still not released but I'm really excited to try it out to see how it changes the daily!

That is just a rumor. What if you wait and then it turns out they held back that upgrade for the IPhone 18? Then you’d have to wait another year and at that point, wouldn’t you be better served by just buying the 16 and then upgrading to the 18 in 2026 by selling your 16?
