I ended up getting the 16 Pro because my carrier gave me $1000 off with trade in on my 14 Pro. The size feels great. Feels 5% smaller than my 14 Pro, yet looks 5% bigger. White was my choice had I gone with the regular model, but they’d only give me $700 off that, so it was a no brainer.

I ended going with the iPhone 16 plus in black with 256gb. I prefer the larger screen I have medium to large hands. Also it’s much easier to type a message etc!

Definitely not a fan of the new capture button. Seems a bit gimmicky and unresponsive in general. Also ruined a lot of cases, it’s early days people will figure that out. Just my opinion but not the direction I was hoping Apple would focus their attention and resources on. Good looking update for sure. I would say the regular 16 makes more sense than a pro in most cases for most people. That being said, 17 air, and SE should be interesting.

My network have offered me a deal, to renew my 2 year contract with the 3 year financing deal on the phone. I think I will wait until Amazon give me a 5 month interest free deal on a Pro Max should I go ahead and buy one. I think until then I will determine whether Apple Intelligence is helpful or just a security risk.
