Like, for me my A71 has a very good camera already, I mean, I can record things on a concert, can take pictures on the beach, pictures of my dog, and I'm quite sure that an iPhone 14pro has a very, very, if not professional quality... Don't get me wrong here plz, I'm not saying it shouldn't improve, I'm just say that we reached a point where it's only for status "my photo is prettier than yours" because most of the time in social media we don't even can tell if the photo was taken by phone X or Y (although are different cameras) because we get to a point where all the photos are really sick and amazing, so I know we always have space to improve, but still, it's an phone, not a camera 😅 so is it that important??

It is soled and marketed as a camera that tries to reach the potential of full size camera. I won’t change my 13 pro max for another Iphone” but for an apple camera to assist my A7c. If I’m spending 2000€ on an iPhone I would except highly improved hardware it’s just normal.

1:45 I personally didn't know that mechanical apertures existed on smart phones 😮. This is the second news that makes me aware of its existence (I saw it earlier this year). To have finer control over the mechanic function of the variable aperture is just awesome. Well Apple needs to imitate Xiaomi variable aperture with the exact micro control function.

I think Apple has prototyped the iPhone 17 Pro with both the traditional "triange" sensor configuration and a sensor configuration akin to that of the Google Pixel 9 Pro models. They will probably make a decision on the configuration to use probably by middle January 2025.

Wrong, latest specs just revealed Apple is not moving away from its iconic camera array. All articles hinting at such a change are wrong. Besides Apple would never move away from their most recognizable feature that distinguishes it from Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel phones.
