ik this is 3 years old but when your making millions of these, 0.01 grams of aluminum can make thousands of dollars in difference

You should never use a sharp metal tool, like pointed tweezers, to pry up the flex cables. It can pierce or tear the cable. Use the spudger instead. Slide it underneath parallel to the phone. If it's stubborn, lightly heat from the screen side with a heat gun to soften the adhesive. If you damage the home button cable, you lose touch id. It's paired with the phone and replacing the button won't bring it back.

yes but not 100% necessary.

It wil never be water resistant anymore, but, there is some cases who are water proof

It seems impossible to unscrew the tri-point and phillips screws inside the phone. I'm using the tool kit that comes with the replacement screen bought over Ebay. do i need to buy a proper screwdrivers?

Then you look at their website and realize you could go pay someone to do it for you twice for the cost of the screen alone.

Is not necessary. Even if u put adhesive again, it will never get perfectly sealed again, so, no water proof anymore. (There is some cases who make it water proof)

Marlon Hernandez after iphone 7 ypu must put all together again to get it started which is difficult to test screen before remove seals

Home buttons on the iphone 7 and up are biometrically synced to the board, in replacing them fingerprint will never work again. You may only use your original in replacements.
